You've got to remember what this audio has been through. 2 pieces of vinyl played together recorded onto tape, copied to cassette then copied to mp3 converted to a video. Surprising we can hear it at all!
It's a shame this never got pressed. I've got the original tape stored away somewhere. I wasn't there on that night. I picked it up at Beat Street Records at Bolton back in the day. I transferred mine over to minidisc around 2000. I'll dig it out and see if it's clearer. If it is I'll covert to mp3 and upload. Thanks for the upload it's ages since I've heard this. The orginal tape was in my XR3i for a good while, but I took care of it ;)
Yes, this was a tape to tape to tape copy that has been hammered in the car on various missions! The whole night was amazing, the 3 tapes from Stu Allan, Nipper and Bowa were all brilliant. Like you, I just wish I had been there that night!
So, am I to assume that nobody else thinks this is a fantastic mash up. For years I tried to find this record, because I thought it was too good to be a mash up! If you listen to the original mix of Corina it is terrible. I would like to congratulate DJ Bowa, even if nobody else does!
