They aren’t a comedy band! I hate how people refer to BWS as a comedy band when they aren’t, they’re a legitimate punk band with so much musical talent and relatable lyrics.
Seeing that Bowling For Soup is, for some part, a comedy band, and the fact that such an emotionally powerful song came from them, that just makes it even more powerful!
idekchris humour can hide the deepest of emotions ..thats why I love this band ..always have and always will. They're rebellious, cheeky, and they can rock like hell 🤘🤘🤘
I want to sing this to my mum... I can't though... I miss you, mum. I'm sorry for being a terrible teenage son... I'm sorry for being so far away. I'm sorry for hurting you and making you cry... I just want to hold you right now, I just want to see you. I love you, mum.
14 years later and I still listen to this. Great song. It will always resonate with me because it came out just before my dad died. Lee Majors gives a great performance as the dad in the video.
I have lyrics from this song tattooed. ‘The tattooed mistakes are gonna fade over time’ and the word fade is faded. It’s pretty dope. I adore this song and band.
@@pbsfundingaddict790 but it's not played or talked about. That's what the problem is. It's an amazing song and it gets less play then hannah Montana. No one said it hadn't been released we said its UNDERRATED there's a difference hun
2024 checking in..getting ready for my second BFS in Aug in freaking Ohio! ❤ As an old Texas fan, I see these songs through a different lens now that I am the Mom of adult kids, who struggle at times. BFS hits different and deeper after all these years.
You guy’s are one of my favorite bands ever. Gospel music being my favorite. I never get tired of listening to your music. And it’s awesome that you guys are still writing and singing. Looking forward to whatever comes next
Suddenly I heard a song from Bowling for soup on a radio at work and I am listening to all of their songs on my way to home.. miss my old days .. Very underrated band
Never fails to make me cry... It made me realize that its never too late to fix our mistakes, no matter how different things would be, we have to keep trying Through heartache, love, or just emptiness, never give up. It will all work out in the end
This song really hits my heart hard. I lost my dad when i was 13. We never had a falling out or anything but I do miss him. I'm almost 39 and there are days I wish i could talk to him again.
As soon as the baby scene happened, I was sitting there saying, _"C'mon, man, put your hand on his shoulder or something."_ Then he did. And that's when I cried. Great song.
This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. The lyrics and the music perfectly fit together and the video is illustrating the reality of the difficulties between a son and his father, which I know a lot about. Excellent job BFS!
This is a beautiful reminder to enjoy what we've got... Bowling for Soup are a great band, with relevant lyrics, Why do they not get the publicity that the likes of One Dimension do? It baffles me...
This song made me realize just how fragile time is. I recently got ahold of some of my family members that I hardly talked to through the years. they know that I can be really, really hard headed at times. now we're getting close like we use to be growing up. truly an amazing/inspirational song for me.
Such a good song. This hit me close to home to because I stopped talking to my father for 2 years after my daughter passed away and it hurt me a lot inside and I was happy when we started talking again and working things out :)
And I know that we're gonna be fine, and the tattooed mistakes are gonna fade over time. As long as we live, time passes by-and we won't get it back when we die. 😭😭😭
I used to listen to this back in the 60s... Brings back memories. A Message to Future Generations, Don't let this song die. It's November 2021, let's see how many legends are listening to this masterpiece
Hey I am only 17 years old ,but this kind of music is my favourite, and one thing I am unlucky I wasn't get to experience this era of music,I don't like nowadays music
BFS -- only act I've seen more than once in concert. Greatest Band of All Time? I kinda think that license plate border I got at one of the concerts just might be telling the truth.
