I’m not sure if it was an official name or what, but I recall everybody calling this the “Violet hook” quantum

My dad beat parker bohn lll with the violent quantum. I have 2 og Forest green quantums and the leap along with my dads aquarium quantum. I love the older balls. I wish Brunswick would bring the og quantums back same core and cover or same cover with the 2016 core.

Hey Vic , great video! I had to stop bowling due to work and injuries in the late 90’s. I’m originally from Louisville Ky and bowled many tournaments in your area . I THINK this ball was one of the last balls I ever drilled but I can’t remember exactly when the the Thunder Storm was released . Do you have any idea and will you show that ball if you can get one.? It was one of my favorites back then and I had a bunch of high scores with it. The Quantum series, not so much and they were the most expensive balls at the time as well

Had the chance to enjoy this ball for a little bit but it overlapped in a spot that would belong to a Phaze 2 at box finish. Still great to use, but better options are out there. EDIT: ORIGINAL RELEASE DATE: 1995. The remakes were 97-98 or so.
