One of my all-time favorites. It was a great complement to the C300 Black U-Dot and the C300 Wine U-Dot when the lanes got drier. Incredible hitting power and great roll.
Proof positive you can throw almost anything on a modern house shot and find a playable line to the pocket. (And the pinball sound effects didn't go unnoticed Vic...nice touch) 🙂
I am 68 and my 1st ball drilled for me was the AMF 3 dot. It was a used ball I got for free. I had it plugged and re-drilled. I could not afford a new ball. Bowled my 1st 700 with that ball, 726 if I remember correctly, bowled this at Lookout Bowl in Ft. Wright Kentucky.
In my league we bowl second squad so no re oil and lots of carry down. And I used a Geico viz-a-ball and I have it at 500 grit trucut and I love it so much I threw it for a whole season and half of another and in Vegas last year and this year when nothing was working.( same that you would see on tour in the early 2000's like when the original inferno came out.) but I do agree on the burn the old balls are the best .
If I can get em started they really hit well. My only issue with the pancakes is the high tracks that tick the thumb hole. If I hit up on them it’s immediately over the thumb. Thanks for viewing 👍🏻😎
@@KingOfTVBowling For sure, but if you can get lined up with one early on you are ALWAYS in for a good night. I recently shot a 766 with my grandpa’s 1986 black U-Dot. I agree, though, you’ve got to be able to get your hand position just right and have the ability to repeat shots. There’s not much forgiveness with these relics. Haha. Keep the great content coming!
I still have this ball.. 14lb, and sitting in my mother's basement.. I haven't used it since I was in middle school in 1987. After seeing this, I'm thinking it's time for a plug and redrill!
