Great video! I recently acquired a 1993 Brunswick Black Twister from a friend. I also have a 1986 Columbia 300 U-Dot. I’m a HUGE fan of old school urethane.

Of all the vintage urethane I own/throw, the ball that makes the most distinctive sound is my 16lb Gold Angle...it makes a sharp loud crack when you put 10 in the pit. On more than one occasion I've seen it get other bowlers' attention and it puts a smile on my face every single time. Strangely enough my 15lb Gold Angle doesn't really have the same sound...

I was just talking to Lisa a bit ago about the black rhino ! She said one was drilled so good at one point she bowled 3 tournaments w it in 1989 … never changed anything but her hand

I think 3 piece were more versatile. i know Jimmy Keeth seemed to prefer it. Recall him testing some balls circa 92 and the phantom he was throwing was later plugged on the used rack. Three piece looked more continuous for him.
