It's so wonderful to see and hear Polka music played by young people. Wish we could have been there in person. The enthusiasm of the band members and the dancers is infectious. Keep on playing and in so doing you bring joy to all. Thank you for making this great video. Thomas A. Bruce, M. D.

These guys & girls are awesome. I know the dancing on stage is a little like everyone else is doing now. But all I can say is they rock ass. Polka AL from Chi Town Express
The Box On opening song played to the marching band in the background is priceless! This is one of the best polka videos on you tube! The band was tight...awesome performance. Well done to all!
Sound systems today do more than just amplify they mix the sound digitally. Some vocalists have different levels of what we called in the old days mic command. When Emily sings for example Alex adjusts the level of her mic.If you have a number with a good clarinet ride you will kick up the volume to highlight a good reed man like Zak. Alex is a perfectionist when it comes to how the band sounds. Watch Eddie Foreman, Hank Guzevich, Mike Costa the best musicians care about how their music sounds. To me it is the mark of a fine musician. Hope this clarifies your observation.
Błogosławię Ciebie dziewczynko w zielono/niebieskiej bluzce. Jurek lat 67. I bless you, little girl in a green/blue blouse. Jurek, aged 67. (computer translation)
So can anyone credit the musicians? It looks like some of them may be related? Who is the lead musician who is singing and playing trumpet? (He's very talented - and handsome too!) Who is the drummer? Who's playing the accordion? Who are those playing strings? Who's the couple dancing almost the whole way along? Who is the female vocalist? They are all very impressive and deserve some online credit and promotion.
I've heard they had this box on a car where used to put their suitcases when they went on road trips, and it means being together, so that's why they named the band Box On.
The bass, drums and accordion is really something else but why is the lad on the trumpet constantly adjusting the sound and if he is such an expert why does he sound as if he is singing into a sock ..!!!!
Emmett O'Hagan, I can tell from your post that you have very little expertise in live music especially while performing with a makeshift PA on a moving float. These young folks are some of the best polka musicians in the country today. Please post a video of your band so I can critique your sound, Emmett.
Eveline i have listened to all Box on Videos and the young lad is always adjusting sound and always sounds like he is singing into a sock .!sorry just my opinion.
