Let's skip right to the hype!
Right now, Diana is busy introducing their FIRST all-German PCP. They had one on display at SHOT Show. They had one on display at the British Shooting Show. I'm sure they will be at IWA. But you can watch this video today and see more than you'll see at any of those shows!
Every part of this pellet rifle is made in-house or to specification in Germany. ‪@AEAC‬ did a factory tour. You should check it out after (Sorry Steve) you watch this video. When they were talking about all-German made airguns, this is one of the ones they were talking about.
Sorry, I forgot the hype.
It's multi-caliber.
It's ambi (FULLY-ambi) dextrous.
The trigger is super light.
The barrel is precise.
The regulator/valve is unbelievably consistent.
Is it perfect? No. The stock is nice but the polymer has a little more flex out front than a laminate would.
Is it super powerful? No. But what do you want to shoot with 70 FPE that a really accurate 50 FPE couldn't take care of?
The .30 caliber version ships with an un-shrouded barrel. Smaller calibers will ship with a carbon fiber, shrouded barrel system. Each airgun ships with a magazine and a two-shot shuttle style loader.
Fill pressure for the tube-style cylinder is 200 bar, and she uses a foster fitting. The air gauge can be rotated for left handed shooters.
If you want to shoot slugs, barrels are being optimized for that purpose and will be available soon.
If I tell you any more you wont have to watch the video, so I'll stop here.
There will be a part two, so if there are other things you'd like to know, make a comment and I'll see what I can do.

To all new Diana XR200 owners. The power is set like this. First loosen the power adjustment screw with a screwdriver and then set the power with the smallest 1.5 mm Allen key. Then tighten the power adjustment screw again with the screwdriver. Greetings to all and have fun shooting;-)

The double shot tray is something I've been thinking about for a while because it would be nice to be able to choose between slug and pellet if you get a trajectory that is safe to use a slug, but it makes more sense to me to just have a manual indexing magazine that was clearly numbered or labeled so you can have a few of each and decide what to load. this way you could leave one empty and keep the bolt closed also. You trade the convenience of the spring for a much more versatile single shot revolving tray. I think this is exactly what hunter need for that opportunity to use a slug without having to trade out mags.

Diana has clearly added a masterpiece to their Performance line. You yourself have certainly thought carefully to bring a good review. That double loading system is definitely better than a single shot tray. With the scope on your rifle it is always a fiddle to load a pellet. I still hope for an extensive pellet test. With reviews on other channels I will be able to skip the specifications section now. I am convinced which is always with Diana.

@WiscAirGunners
@WiscAirGunners Год назад
I think that the German perspective on performance equals precision. I'm certain that this rifle could be made to shoot at a higher speed, but that doesn't mean that it would be as precise or as smooth to shoot. You'd also be using lots more air, and less head space above reg pressure, thus have lower shot count. What they are doing in this rifle is permitting you to change calibers with relative ease, and necessitating a valve change would make that pretty tough. Out of curiosity, what do you want to shoot with a .30 cal air rifle that you need more than 50 FPE for? You aren't alone in wanting this to be higher powered. I'm seriously curious to know what you want to shoot with it. I look forward to your reply.
