Q:What camera do you use?
A: I use the Go Pro Hero 7 Black Edition primarily. Often times you will see auxillary cameras in use. Those cameras include The Go Pro Hero 6, Hero, and DJI Mavic Pro Platinum
Q: How big Is your rotator?
A: It is a 50 ton Miller Industries Vulcan 950
Q: Does the carriage slide back like Ron Pratt's?
A: No, the carriage doesn't slide back due to strict weight laws in California. The sliding carriage will make the truck to heavy in CA
Q: Why do you only have 3 winches on the rotator?
A: Comes down to weight again as stated above
Q: How many trucks Does Plaza Towing have?
A: Currently more than 30
Q: Why must the driveshaft be removed to tow a vehicle?
A: When vehicles are not running the transmission is not receiving circulating lubricant. If the driveshaft is left installed, the transmission, which is not receiving lubricant, is still spinning. This allows it to get very hot which eventually will cause major damage to the transmission. Therefore, removing the driveshaft completely eliminates the transmission from spinning. Simply leaving it in neutral is not sufficient since the transmission still spins in neutral.

People are always in a hurry to get nowhere. Then wonder why they have a high-speed accident. Good job Plaza Towing getting this mess cleaned up. Glad the driver was ok!

You can see the 55 mph speed limit sign on the trailer. Which is the towing speed limit in California anyway. You can bet that he was probably going 85 mph. It always amazes me to see people speeding down the highway with everything they own, including their pets, like they could have a care in the world.

I commute through there and nobody follows the construction speed limits. Its already a tight squeeze with all the k rails and everyone is still doing 15-20 over the limit

The attitude of some people is "Speed limits are only for fools, I'm no fool and can do whatever speed I want to". I used to do a 100 mile each way commute and the number of times I would be overtaken by a car towing a trailer at way of 90mph - the towing limits is 60. And the number of times I would come across the contents of the trailer spewed over the road and then see the car and trailer disarranged all over the road.

@@18robsmith Yeah I remember when not that long ago when those trailers had a 45 mph speed limit on them, before U-Haul totally gave up on that. In those days I thought that was kind of low. At that time I would tow them about 50 - 55 mph. Now when I use them I keep it around 55 - 60 mph. Contrary to the popular opinion, the 55 mph speed limit for trailers in California is not an unreasonable limit. Anyone who has ever seen a trailer develop a death wobble at 70 or 80 mph, knows that is not a safe way to tow anything.

@@odc43054 And you have a better explanation of why a U-Haul truck towing a car down the Interstate would suddenly lose control and flip over a construction barrier? Some of us have been driving long enough to see how people drive these things. The three typical causes of single vehicle trailer crashes. 1. Improper vehicle size. 2. Improper chaining. 3. Speeding. This crash was not consistent with #1 or #2. That leaves #3.

A helpful hint: save your strength pulling on the free-spooled cables by leaving them attached to the truck & lift the boom which will stretch out the cables. Good job as usual.

What happened to the cat? Did you just dump it on the roadside? No doubt it was frightened by the chaos, then having strangers handle it. They had at least 8 reasons why you should be kind and gentle.

No, the other individual there in the passenger seat was the owner to the cat. He was able to get it out
