Excellent tutorial. Using a pair of these Winning NG2 gel knuckle guards with 8oz-10oz Professional fight gloves (any brand in general) gives a great balance of protection and punch feedback. They even bring back life to almost any heavily used pair of gloves (in the knuckle padding department). Typically you don't get much protection (if any at all, especially from mexican style ones like Reyes or Everlast MX) from pro fight gloves. Also, most pro fight gloves have almost no wrist support, so wrapping extra on wrists (or taping) is a must.

Hey m8! I know this comment is 4 years old... but I was curious to see how you may be possibly getting on with the newest version of the Winning fight gloves? Imo, they've changed quite a bit and are no longer the ultra protective and long lasting fight glove they once were. They're good in pro fights... but training with them prior to the fight tends to wear them down quickly for a Winning glove (MS-200). I've actually began using MS-300 B's because the design is still geared toward training. I was terrified to use the velcro version (I haven't used velcro since my AIBA bouts). I had no choice if i wanted to use 10oz Winning not made for the fight. Winning velcro (at least for my hands) is quite remarkable. I can't say I've lost much at all in the wrist support category. But anyways, the year or so, the official fight gloves have been going super soft after the 25-30 round mark for me. I was curious what other users have been experiencing.

@@nb0616 The 8oz-10oz Winning laceups have that yellow oval logo on the backhand area right? Yeah as of 2007 those are no longer just smaller versions of their training gloves. They were redesigned to be more of a fight glove with good protection.
@nb0616
@nb0616 2 года назад
@@danielhenry4365 that's what I thought but couldn't find any verification. I was still in aiba in 2007 but I did buy ms-300's back in 2005. I was tired of amateur boxing and went into the "semi-pro" route. I got MS-200's and they felt like a legit punches glove imo. The B versions are like they were prior to 2007 (or at least they feel that way to me, I could be wrong). Cheers m8!

@@danielhenry4365 oh and yes, they have that yellow oval that says official on them.

@@danielhenry4365 i am complete shit at making videos but I was thinking of doing one on the difference between a Winning official fight glove and a Winning B series. Right now, all I have are MS-200 fight gloves and MS-300 B's so I can't do a direct comparison... but I figure it's close enough for anyone who's interested.

Not to bad but to get a even better fit and make your wrap more comfortable use thinner contour tape bandages to go through fingers this will make a tighter fist and feel better , good luck

Great video! Do you recommend these guards with a pair of Winning MS-600B? I've got a lingering knuckle injury (may be a bit of nerve damage) and I need extra extra protection. Haven't used Winning gloves with a knuckle guard, but I have tried them with Hayabusa Tokushus sorta like what GSP does. You seem to be quite a fan of Winning gloves and honestly who isn't; would these fit comfortably inside with 180" mexican wraps?

Have the same exact knuckle pads and handwraps, but I find that my hands lose circulation. How would I rectify this? I only have this problem with really elastic wraps.
@Fit2Box
@Fit2Box 5 лет назад
DragonGorillas sounds like you are wrapping too tight Always splay your fingers when going over the knuckles , the stretch gives a much more comfortable wrap If your circulation is being affected then you are probably stretching the wrap too much whilst wrapping -this is binding your hands to tightly👊🏼👍🏼
@DragonGorillas
@DragonGorillas 5 лет назад
@@Fit2Box Thanks for the tips, I guess I have been stretching them too much! Only bad quality I can find with the winning vl-b wraps is that they twist a lot otherwise they're perfect.
