Great tutorial for beginners, just one minor thing, in the "Countering every Ability", overhand part, there is a short time window for a string cross following both side jabs adding more damage to the punish of the overhand, making it more effective when the enemy isn't close to the walls. Thanks! Would love an updated version and competitive related things.
This guide was so helpful! Your explanations are so clear and precise which I believe have made me play much better. I love this video and I'm going to watch the rest! Nice Work!😁
Great video! Pretty much agree with all of the tips here with side jabs, I tend to overuse them too much myself because it's such a fun move to use! One thing people should be really cautious of is uppercuts while side jabbing. If the person uppercutting positions themselves right, they can not only do the counter animation on a potential side jab if the knockback isn't cancelled, but WALL STUN WITH the uppercut if the position is just right. It normally requires a prediction to do that, but it's definitely something to keep in mind. Double kick is a life saver for that, but uppercuts are no joke if they can land one before you even cancel the counter! I also like side jabs in 2v2s, they're risky, but even if you aren't going for wall stuns, just being able to knock someone down for a few seconds can really help your teammate. and also if people are confused on how to side jab wall stun in 1v1s, side dodge left. I don't know if it's the same for 2v2s and royales, but for 1v1s specifically, left side dodge allows you to wall stun! 👍
I don't think side dodging left doesn't increase the chances of wall stun from my experience, I tried it multiple times and they still usually fall to the ground instead of hitting the wall
@@vxlkyz4686 That's why Uppercut is a *read, not a 100% counter.* It's meant to be a punish for people being reckless with side dodges as a hard read. It's a lot more common in Royales to punish side jabs and strings. Delayed strings actually make you the most vulnerable to uppercut 'counters' out of almost every move if you fail positioning. You'll still be in the counter animation and get potentially wall stunned against good players. Obviously you can position yourself to chip the uppercuts with delayed strings, but if you don't have tons of dex you'll be losing the war on stamina. it's why double kick is used lol
it's from lag What I do is when I use aim assist I don't just move toward opponent I also strafe in the same direction (If my opponent moves left I move forward and left)
@@epic4 woow thank you, minutes after i commented i successfully learned it by myself, you got the essential points to do it, but you forgort something, Press W then press A or D (if your opponent is on right or left) while doing the side dodge. ur amazing thank you for all the tutorial videos.
Im on mobile, when i press the side dodge button its delayed like 200 ms or sometimes just doesnt work cause of my ping, my internet is good so i have no idea why that happens
