I watched this back like 5+ times as I don't hear the mum say "That's ok" I only hear, "Ok" is it just me? So, people seem to think she says "its ok" a lot more than who think it is "that's ok" so thanks for agreeing with me, and proving my point that the original poster got this wrong!!
@@seanfranklin8679 Thank you Sean, you have a great day, year, life mate. I guess we can safely say that no matter what your age when something beautiful happens and one human gets emotional it can inflict a powerful emotion and empathy in others to feel that touch of beauty too.
The fact that he pretended to be happy with “accidental” dog toys anyways, as to not let you think he was ungrateful in ANY way… Mom and Dad- YALL ARE DOING GREAT JOB AS PARENTS!!
@@celesteg5802 sorry your uncle touched your no no spot and nobody believed you, he kept doing it for years until now that you're an adult you finally had the strength to stand up. Now you charge him.
Agreed!!! As soon as Mom said that’s ok. And he burst into tears. I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him hold on to your freedom with tears. Sometimes a good old cry feels amazing and takes away stress.
@@maryallison0509 it does, but I can't let out cry while others are around. I do it when I'm alone. Usually when I've had a bit to drink, to loosen me up a bit. Even my closest family don't feel close enough to see me like that. And I have a wonderful supportive and loving family. It just feels against my nature to show weakness to people I love. It's apart of being a man. When everyone else is weak, sad, hurting, suffering, we do everything we can to hide ours so in that way we strengthen those who can't. That old saying, "I bare it, so you don't have to". In the modern world where things are easier for everyone this way of life doesn't make as much sense, but it's still engrained in all men.
This is what kids should be. He's so polite and appreciative, even when it appeared he just got weird af dog toys. He clearly has a beautiful soul and has been raised well. I hope he had the best of birthdays and enjoys his time with the goodest pupper. This definitely brought a little water to my eyes.
I honestly watched over and over and over again. My heart moved in so many ways. Blessings to the parents that gave this boy the best friend he will ever have. Mom, you are to be commended to let your son know it's okay to have emotions. A+++ family. ♾️💓
Everything about this is just so fricken sweet- Him showing gratitude at getting dog toys. His mum saying ‘it’s ok’ when he says he’s going cry. THE FRICKEN PUPPY SO CUTTEEE. His happiness at having a puppy. Great parents and great kid right there
Ummm rich kids gets what he want?? That's sad?!? 🤔 What sad is having Christmas and your mom is so fucked up from drugs they have no Christmas and tge father is nowhere to be found. Those are times when it's so sad the stories iv heard. I'm glad this kid got a puppy. But alot don't get anything.... not even a dog toy for themselves to play with!! This is how republican act towards those type of people!! Dont act like you dont...everyone knows it's true
I know that was so sweet of him. He's so happy. He has a new buddy!!!!!! They're going to be able to create so many more great memories together now!!!!
@@TheRealQhue I don't wanna be a bummer but remember, some kids are beyond messed up, even at at young age. Born wired wrong. Yes, it is a thing. Those particular kids get off on torturing animals. Then they graduate to other horrible crimes like murder or r*pe, etc. I'm just sayin'. Might not wanna say 'every child'. That's the sad reality of life. But I'm glad this boy, who's been a good kid, got to finally experience the love a dog can give. Some kids never grasp that concept. I love my aussie pup, Bailey. She's 8 months now. She's a pain in my butt but she's a smart, lovable goofball full of energy. I had a really great dog before her. I put him down at 13 back on March 23rd, 2020. Man, the bond I had with him. He will never be replced. I got Tobi when I was 18. He was a graduation/birthday gift from my mother. I nearly broke when the time came to let him go.
he was also so humble when he didn’t quite get it yet. he opened dog toys and was clearly confused but was still respectful and grateful. he deserves this puppy 🖤
Don't get me wrong here, the whole "I'm gonna cry" "that's okay" sequence is obviously the heavy hitter here, but underrated line is the "he's so cute" and the emotion in it
@@derlowenkonig7971 Yes they should. When the kid are OLD enough to take care of it. I'm SURE that's why his parents waited. He's a teen so this is a good time to start having more RESPONSIBILITIES. BUT like MOST kids he might get tired of HIS RESPONSIBILITY but that's were the parenting lecture comes in to TEACH ABOUT honoring your responsibilities because it's a DUTY not whether you like it or not. It helps to build his character as a man. He's OLD enough to do just fine. He'll give that doggie lots of LOVE💕. So don't you worry about a thing. 🌼🌼
@@derlowenkonig7971 there 2 grown adults that have obviously assessed that there child is mature enough to take on the responsibility of having a pet, and the kid isn't alone. He has two adults there to help out.
This boy is so sweet! He appreciated the dog toys from his mom and didn't get upset that she bought him toys for a dog. A real sweetie, I'm so glad he got his puppy❤
OMG I just cried 'cuz I wish my parents did that! I wanted a cat all my life, tried everything to deserve it but they just never accepted 😢 I love the reaction of the kid, so sincere❤❤
@@jackcooers9741 yeah and you're mr strong who's too afraid to be in touch with his emotions right? One is healthy one is not, fyi expressing emotions is healthy and normal, get a therapist and they may be able to teach you 💗
“im gonna cry” “that’s okay” this is the best response, saying aww don’t cry is what most people do i remember once i had really bad issues with panic attacks and making myself throw up and my cousin came into the bathroom and hugged me and said “it’s okay im right here” and let me cry on her shoulder
This is hitting me in the feels. My dear pup is nearing the end after 11.5 years. Had him since he was 4 weeks old. It's tough watching the old boy fade away but I'll never forget all the good times with him. My best friend through it all.
@@is_that_a_chiken_5047 you can cry together in that hug lol it's healing to cry. You shouldn't try to stop them if they feel like it.. i know people who can't cry and it affects them in so many ways. And they cant cry because selfish people told them not to because it would make them cry. One of those people is my mom. My granma wouldn't let her cry and she is just repressed. As well as one of my best friends.. he wants to and needs to but cant and its sad to watch.. but let people cry please.. and let yourself cry..
Her being like “that’s ok” when he said he was going to cry is amazing. I tell my son the same thing. He’s only 8 but still. We are humans, the whole “men shouldn’t cry” thing hopefully ends soon. The best men cry. Emotions are emotions doesn’t matter if you’re male or female, black, white purple or blue.
The fact he still appreciated the gifts even though they were dog toys and he thought his mom just made a mistake… this little guy deserves that furry best friend 😭
@@shshsh1298 nah bro my neighbour always told her kids: Don‘t cry, crying is for loosers who can‘t control their feelings. And She was not a man. (i guess so lol)
Not in my house. I would've gotten up from my recliner, paused the 9/11 conspiracy documentary I was watching, and turned towards him and yelled "hey sissy boy you want some French cries and a wahhmburger with that?" And then tossed the remote at his head. My son is going to be the top g. As soon as he is of age I'm buying him a headset and playstation and he's killing noobs.
Life is very precious. He seems like a very caring and nice kid. This world does have good people. Innocence of children should be protected at all costs.
Can we just talk about how obviously safe this sweet boy feels to be able to show emotions so easily in front of his parents. Men are allowed to have emotions too ❤️❤️❤️
I can show emotion in front of my mom just fine, most men don’t have a problem with that; most men have a problem with showing emotion around strangers.
nah, they need to tell their daughters that boys have feelings and the dads lead as example. OR you retain tradition, in every way. If you tell a boy its ok to cry and half of the other boys dont, the boys who cry will lose in life every time one who doesnt is present.
@@crieverytim You’d be surprised, man. I can tell you as a teacher that definitely not 9/10 of my male students have believed it’s okay for guys to cry.
@@Sophie-dd5xr yeah i believe its a high number. Even this kid felt he had to excuse himself a little. But we're talking about the moms. Ofc mom is going to say that's OK. Very few moms would rebut him w 'boys don't cry' etc
@@crieverytim How old are you? And how well do you know all the cultures in the US (assuming you’re American)? Trust me when I tell you that whatever bubble you grew up in isn’t indicative of the entire country. So many cultures still don’t believe in mental health or boys/men crying. I’m glad you think it’s that good because it shows you’re growing up in an open minded culture, but it’s definitely not the overwhelming majority of kids’ realities.
@@Sophie-dd5xr 35. I've lived in Ohio, CT, CA and NYC. While i admit that I don't have any kids in my bubble, when i was growing up, it would have been bizarre for a mom to chastise their kid for 'happy tears', esp when being gifted a long-desired puppy. The dads would be a different story. Personally, outside of crying in fear/terror (say in the trenches/combat) or self-pity, I never understood the stigma. I cry at commercials, even weddings lol. 😭
I'm 5'10, 225lbs, 50 yrs old, take crap from no one, work in a steel shop and i'm on lunch right now with tears in my eyes from this video. What a sweet boy.
Damn HOMIE! THAT'S soo deep but yet Soo true. But... If you let your kids get into the bad company (aka bad friendship) they will become just like them. Tell me who you are by who you walk with is the parable I year on bro. Real talk. 👌👏👏
@@Gioachino_Orsini That's retarded. Sometimes even the good have to walk with the bad to survive. Someone that thinks that's accurate has never had to live life. That's 100% an ivory tower comment lol
