The scene where Doroka's eyes are ripped out is brutal and heartwrenching. I sure would have liked an equally excruciatingly painful end to the villain Shiro.
It was...fine, but a bit manatee in its introduction of new characters. (until the last episode pulled a One Piece and foreshadowed the great powers) For fellow fans of revenge anime, though, I'd recommend Elfen Lied (which definitely inspired parts of this series) and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo.
Well from my understanding of the anime, he did that because he doesn't want Chloe to suffer again, and he let her go Edit : but yes, he doesnt need to hate the witches. Their ideas to use her to revenge the humans actually helped his goals
Why was a I close to tears watching this though? I wonder how my anger issues surpassed how long the battle was between Shiro and Adonis was. I loved this recap, and ship Adonis and Doro. Awesome video as always!
