Dumbest function of VR/Realistic games is that prevent you from leaving. If the characters had common sense, you'd think that would be a god awful feature. Imagine getting robbed while playing VR and being unable to do anything about it
@@fareeshatv8633 If you ever get out on time. Really messed up that these types of VR games requires you to "export" your conscious to it. Unable to physically exit the game or move.
Even in universe it is just a game he could have chose stop playing multiple time but he kept doing it anyway so no matter how you look at it all the pain he is going through is self inflicted.
yeah he is like me im bad in real life and in the same time im bad in video games for that i understand him im trying to do something if im not good in real life just to be good in the video games but still not works im still bad in the video games too just like him so sad life i have i understand him
It's pretty funny, he is not OP nor is the game any sort of wish-fulfillment lol But it's solidly written too, and the character arc is done pretty well. MC has a lot to work through and it's clear he's struggling through the ups and downs of growing despite his pain. I haven't watched an isekai-esque anime get this fleshed out in a while, so that's a solid win.
@@errebusaether Yea but not physically like his dad he's more like his mage mom but mentally he's like he never got issekai'd which is the best part he has trouble getting over his traumas from his past life
@@SirChanXD "haven't watched an isekai-esqued anime gets fleshed out this well in awhile" as in it hasn't been for a long time. Re:Zero is an exception that has been here quite awhile far back already
To be fair, in legend of Zelda if you bully the chicken then a swarm of them take you out. A flock of chickens. Stronger than the hero that has to save the princess 😂
he should have just let her end the characters life, then went in, handed the gal the game back and thanked her for wasting my time, and causing me to piss myself.. and inform her im going back home and staying there for the foreseeable future... dont look for me in game, i smashed that shit before giving it back in the box she sold it to me in...
@@illusionofquality979 "Some circles" isn't enough to maintain an MMO for over a decade. It's also not really 'hard' it's just unfair. If your character dies then not only is it gone forever, but you have to buy a brand new copy of the game to play it again? Your EMOTIONAL STATE has an actual tangible effect on the game? If you get caught up in an event, you lose the ability to log out for hours at a time? Pain transfers to reality? Any one of those flaws would be enough to tank a game, let alone an MMO that's been going strong for a decade; and this game has all of those flaws and then some.
@@VioletAeonSnowfield the log out one wouldn't ever fly. If anything and RL sensation like touch which have to auto pause the game for a human to see what is going on. Pain I could see being use. But very light like a being tingl were you where hit.
Despite some issues with not so great comedy at times and the over the top reactions from the protagonist this show actually has a really good message, a good backstory for the protagonist and actual character development for him as well.
It didn't really gloss over this much but, your characters stats are determined based on your actual physical body and abilities. The magic system is based on your emotional state. So you have to be physically capable of everything you do in game, and can only go above that limit when you deeply care about it. So any gamer that isn't a pro athlete would struggle.
I think we need to make a new genre name for games made like this. The first example of the genre I encountered is a real game called Vangers - search it up and hopefully your eyes wouldn't regret it
There would be continuation but the release date would be later, mainly due to lack of studio to animates the series and huge amount of request, there has been several expansion to the studio situation but still not enough.
the game sounds impossible, I would've snapped the game in half for how idiotic the system is implemented, and how redundant the gameplay is. its like Dark Souls only its made to kill you in one shot by any boss. including the tutorial boss.
I can assure you nothing is more soul destroying than playing as dirk the daring in " Dragons Lair ". This old 1983 arcade game sucked money out of me faster than any waifu !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is a Great Isekai that not every MC always has to start from op abilities in there reborn after death in the real world. That is why I also Recommend you read Mushoku Tensei and ignore the Ecchi scenes, cause the story development is so amazing that is what you would expect from a person who want to luve again for the better.
I quit the series the moment MC didn't demand his money back. When a main character's agency is taken away, that's the end, no waiting. Avoid this trash, unless if you have some kind of masochistic mindset.
wth, I thought i watched all isekai /stuck in mmo animes on crunchyroll and was kinda sad that there is nothing new to watch from this genre. Stuck with stupid romcoms left to watch. But somehow missed this one. Excitement returns
I remember this really if this guy was any real gamer he would have had a much better time at this but I guess that's how the writers wanted to play it. It's just annoying when the write the story like that could have been so much fun
Since the physical stats in game are identical to the stats in RL, a real Gamer would die in the first battle...you have to be an RL pro-athlete with RL martial arts skills to have any hope of survival.
@@StarlasAikoI would beat the shit out of everyone, not that I’m strong, but at least I’m not dumb and I have a good physique, anyone who dosent jump me out of nowhere would get hands rated E
its weird... also the fact that he thinks he can take on goblins despite realizing that pain exist in the game and accidentally killing someone... i get that he thinks its a game but if things get that real it would best for him to be cautious ... he's kind of a dummy in my opinion so i do think he deserves his challenges
Thats why I watch reviews first before buying. If you screw up then your character is doomed is a stupid gimmick with no restart. So if you choose to be a fighter and few months later wanna be a wizard then tough luck. All your stats are set to be a fighter. So you have to buy another game console to play another character.
