It could be that the camera was held by a kid while his father went for help.

The hero boy is amazing because the escalator hand rails are moving, hitting the hero in the armpit area & he is reaching over it to hold the other boy which wouldn't be easy. The little girl was trying to help but she kept getting pushed away by the moving rails so glad she didn't fall too. Escalators are dangerous. I don't like using them as an adult so children should be with adults that are watching them closely. The important part is that they all are safe.❤ Angels!!!

The time it took the 2 kind man and woman (assuming they are not the parents) to reach the child, the cameraman could have done something more useful and life-saving.
