It's actually a misconception that he's dumb. He was always just a goof off who got used to shortcuts and scheming to get women. Occasionally he was a himbo, but he's never truly been that dumb.
Danielle Fishel thought he legit made that last shot without any set up. He readily crushed her dreams by telling her the truth after 25 years of believing it was pure skill.
In their podcast they said it took him one take to do it, but all the rehearsals he didn’t do this, they kept trying but the take they did it was the first one and he made it all in Will said that you can see his face look surprised as he did it.
On the podcast he talks about how he landed it on the first try too. You can see the look of shock in his face before he goes back in character to deliver the Mexico line lol
It's been years since I saw even an episode but when I stumbled upon this video, by an accident, I felt so lucky! This is just too good, Eric is a god!
Characters Frankie and William or perfect in the scenes from their facial expressions to the dialogues. These are supportive characters who really need to get more attention. Whatever happened to the actors?
He did get all the balls, they had a trick shot expert set the table up and he told will exactly where to hit and how. It's all geometry, but that's why you can see Eric (will) show genuine shock as he saw it work before remembering he was shooting a scene lol
I actually really like this episode. Not necessarily for the Eric/Frankie pool thing because you can tell the writers threw that in just to give Eric something to do that episode. But the stuff with Cory, Shawn, and Feeny up in the cabin was really good. I like the episodes with the more serious story arcs that build everyone's relationship with Feeny.
