yes definitely, I’m going into my third year this fall and will continue to live at kerrey. the location is perfect and theres the benefit of living on top of the main building. problem is that rent is pretty high, but I still recommend for first years since the dorms are where you will make your closest friends

It honestly comes down to how willing you are to meet new people. For me, I spent most of my time with just my roommates and a few friends outside the dorm because they were all the friends I needed. I didn’t feel the need to make many friends so I actually don’t know many people that live in the dorms right now lol, but you will definitely feel a sense of unity with the friends you make in the dorms so don’t worry too much!

I haven’t lived in 301 so I can’t say, but I have moved to the 20th Street residence this summer and I think I prefer the 20th in terms of living, but Kerrey is superior in location and convenience. 301 had a gas leak this past semester so I don’t know if it’s that good but yeah, that was a whole weird situation where everyone had to move out

Hi, welcome to Parsons! There’s usually a large population of freshmen at Kerrey, so I’m guessing it’ll be okay but to my knowledge, it is random for which dorm you get as a freshman. I think you can submit you preferences on the housing website though.

Hi, no unfortunately Kerrey doesn’t have a safe. I don’t think any of the dorms have a safe. Hope this helps
