it seems to me that Noise Cancellation is a digital filter similar that used in some audio editing software and it changes the original source applying some artifacts making the sound more compressed and metallic. Did you notice that?

The width of the recover is about 1.5 cm and sits pretty snug to the phone so I would say I don’t get in the way that much.

no the receiver does not ever need to be charged. Only the mics.

I think you meant to ask if the receiver needs to be charged. The transmitters of course need to be charged.
