Worth the review as a real budget option, and very compact and useful for the use case. The issue I see with it is the lack of internal recording: Wireless mics are unreliable, and I feel not having that feature is a potential waste of money, since the moment there is interference you are out of luck. So paying more once is probably a better investment for enthusiasts. For everyone else, budget options are good enough. Anecdotally, I got a DJI mic 2 with my Pocket 3, and while the Tx is massive, the internal 32bit recording certainly has been a life saver sometimes. Thanks for the review, please keep doing these, they are immensely useful for people looking to buy products with good value.
I agree, the lack of internal recording is a potential issue. Paying a little more to have that feature can definitely be worth it. I regularly use a Tentacle Track E with 32-bit float. Set it, forget it 🙂 Much like your DJI mics. Hopefully we'll see internal recording trickle down to the budget systems. Thanks for watching!
Hola David. They should connect automatically once turned on. I don’t have the manual at hand right now because I’m travelling, but I believe they have a pairing button for when they don’t automatically connect for some reason. Thanks for watching!
Has anyone found out out to get two tracks from each of the mics? I seem to get both in one track when using the app on my phone even with the receiver and the app set to record in stereo. Help!
