I've been gifted some of their stuff in the past by friends/family, but nothing I ever wanted to show on my channel. A couple of years ago I went to a show with 2 other people, and BID was there. The person manning their booth had the personality of a brick. I can understand being exhausted, setting up the booth, manning it, taking it back down and all the traveling. But being tired was not an excuse to how we were talked too. I've never looked back on to anything they "make", it wasn't worth it. BTW, their website says this and I quote "Our long time manufacturing partner is located in China, where our company was founded. We often use components made in Japan, Germany and the US. Our products are a global effort.".
The thing with all this is that the issue isn't really about the products. It's about how they responded and reacted in this interaction that reveals who they are.
Holding a liked comment from a user against a creator is petty. If you want to portray an American company, you should know that free speech, such as comments and opinions are part of what makes this country what it is.
I never was a fan of this company. Call me cheap or whatever, but 70 bucks for a mini bolt action pen, is positively IN-SANE! But then again, that's just me. I'm just a dumb flatfoot. What in the f*ck do I know? Awesome vid brah! ❤
The things companies do outside of the public eye speak volumes to their character. In my opinion: Being able to take criticism, as a person or a company, is a sign of maturity and that you want to grow and improve. There is always room for improvement.
Oh my gosh Edc or Harry Potter! I shouldn't comment on that because it wasn't like consistent with the nice kind vibe I try to send out, but that was a pretty funny thing to say - but really his parents named him. It's not his fault.
I stopped buying merchandise from them ages ago over the foreign made pens. They act like the pens are made in the USA, but there is no mention of place of manufacture. My question is why would Marine X want to do business with them anyway?
It caught my attention when I saw them start pushing various pens on different RU-vid channels and the RU-vidrs didn’t say they were made in America. I do t have an issue with anything made overseas, I as a consumer want to know where it’s made.
Never heard of them… so by default they’ve been boycotted! Hearted a comment and so we don’t think you like our products. 🤣 That’s the most 7th grade shit I’ve ever heard!
