Just to clear up anything: 1. Weeks 3 with BF and GF are not together, both of their parents were planning to force them together. GF doesn't understand that so she thinks that's how life works 2. Week 5, on the third song, is the inner persona of what BF thinks about his parents. And throughout the entire mod BF's parents were abusive, which is why there's a warning at the start of the mod talking about sensitive topics

What Father Fairest was talking about with the sweatshirt is that throughout Softie's life his dad would burn his cigarettes on his chest and to cover it up he would wear a sweatshirt to hide the burn marks . Those two are the real demons and I hate them for who they are

Fun fact: BF and GF's are not actually named Boyfriend and Girlfriend in this mod, those are just there initials. Soft BF's real name is Benjamin Farest and GF is Grace Farest* *unrelated, she just changed her last name under the assumption they would be married

I think what's going on with Girlfriend and Boyfriend is that their parents had planned for them to be together/married, with Boyfriend promising either out of not knowing himself yet and going along with what others want him to do (Since, in this mod specifically, the creator said Boyfriend is gay. Only likes men), or his parents forced him to make that promise since he seems have been manipulated by them for all his life. Though while they weren't actually together, Girlfriend had been feed this lie her whole life that the friend she cares about would be her future husband, making her have genuine feelings for Boyfriend. That their life will be perfect together, but sadly that just isn't how it always works.

I've seen some soft aus in the past, mostly the fnaf soft au, that one is cringe most of the time, but this one, this one isn't, this au is a nice story of self-improvement and overcoming trauma alongside doing what makes you happy, that love is what matters, not blood relations or anything like that, just because you're family by blood it doesn't mean you're a true family, true family is the one that loves and cares for you, that keeps you safe and never hurts you, that's why some say "you're like a brother/sister/sibling to me" to their best friends, because they love them to the point they feel related to them, if there is no love for one another, then the only family they are is the technical definition of related by blood, no more, I truly am sorry for those whose family are toxic and cause pain, be it mentally of physically, I am grateful that I got lucky and got one that isn't that way, sadly, some have to deal with it, and not much can be done, the best advice I can give is, with time, you will get a chance like soft BF, you will be able to take a hold of your life and be what you have the right to be by law, be free and live a secure life. I also have noticed that in most soft au character are the opposite of what their personalities are in canon while also changing roles, Daddy Dearest is a family guy that loves his wife and would kill for her daughter and he willing shows how much of a demon he is, then the Father in this au while hides his true personality and is actually a true demon that doesn't care about family, but looks and status, same could be said for the Mother and Mommy. Another thing, I like the attention to detail the mod creator had, not only references, but also that in week 5, aka chapter 5, during the first song everyone in the background is like "yeah this is a nice place" or "I like the music" or maybe "they are so good at singing!", even the people in the second floor, but after the cutscene where father and mother show their true faces and BF screams all the wrongs they have done to him everyone in the background are like "wait, they what?!" or "they did such a thing?! how dare they!" or maybe "I no longer wish to be here... this is awkward..." and even the guy with his glasses that Mikey pointed out that says "Hell nah" towards this revelation of them being awful parents, I truly think after the song was done and BF had an episode Pico must have been like "BF? BF you okay?!" and the bad parents where like "now is our chance to take him back" only to get a tomato to the face out of nowhere and someone screaming "how could you do such thing to your child?!" followed by more trash being trown at them as they have to run away due to the crowd defending BF. one last thing, I wonder how different GF parents are to the originals, sure, I might have compared the original Daddy with Father, but the "canon BF's dad", aka the mod where Gf's brother wants to date bf's sister, and Daddy Dearest are pretty much the same since it's basically just a reskin of Daddy Dearest if he wasn't a demon and was more holy, in other words, a family man who doesn't want their kid to be under bad influence, but in the good way, in the "we are actually worried for you" way, not the "we want to control your life" way, maybe they aren't that different from Father and Mother since, like I said, they are basically the same, just with a reskin.

Fun fact: The monster you see at chapter (week) 2 and chapter 5 has blue hands and blue mouth/teeth its because its actually a resemblance of soft bfs parents. Since his father hurts him with his hand they colored the hands blue and the mouth/teeth is blue its because his mother hurts him by using hurtful words. Hope that helps if anyone is confused on why their hands and mouth/teeth is blue

The monster that you fight is kinda what you thought it was but instead of being his inner demon it’s his greatest fear… his father which is why the monster looks very similar to his dad. And the reason he smiles at the end of the song is because after beating him he realizes he not scared of his dad anymore which is also why the monster fades away because he’s no longer afraid of him there for the monster can’t exist in his sub consciousness Hope this cleared it up about the monster :)
