It's funny how in real life, whenever someobody died, I knew it before anyone even picked up the phone. I knew before the news was given. You can taste it; the sorrow, the dread. I don't know how I knew, but whenever I heard a phone buzzing that bore the news of death, I knew as soon as that thing went off. I could feel it. And then my dad picked up the phone, and I just knew what he was going to be told. Gramps was dead. Another time, my Mom's phone buzzed, I thought, right away, 'Oh god... Grandma's dead, isn't she.' Mom picked up the phone and got the news. I swear when I woke up on those fateful days it felt like someone whispered in my ear, "Today's the day. Someone you know died." And then someone's phone buzzed, and the whisper of a thought said, "You can guess who it is." So when that phone buzzed in the video, my whole soul shuddered.

@@reydragonclaw1128 Yep. This is really scary, but I actually had a dream that my dad had died six months before, and in the dream, my pastor took my hand and said, "I'm sorry for your loss." I woke up terrified that early morning, and told my dad about it. He just pinched my cheek and said, "That'll never happen, peaches." And that part with the pastor, I didn't know what he was helping me onto, until my dad actually died. Until I was dressed in dark floral with a paper in hand, and he took my left hand, and said, "I'm sorry for your loss," and helped me onto the stage I would be speaking on at my father's* freakin' funeral. Scariest experience ever. My dad also said a strange thing the month before he was burned. We were about to make a hotel reservation to stay in the city I would be graduating in that year. When he and my mom were sitting at the table with me making the reservation, he looked at me and said, "We better make sure we can change the number of us who'll be going in case one of us won't make it." Creepiest thing he's ever said. And I laughed it off and said, "Yeah okay, but what's even going to happen between now and then? Nothing's going to change!" My dad: **dies the month before**

As someone who lost someone I cried. Not a parent, but my grandpa died back in April, he was just too sick and weak and he passed in his sleep in our house, since my mom wanted to take care of him. We were devastated of course, but my mom and grandma took it the worst, he helped to raise me and my brother when my mom needed the most, I took it for granted and I regret it, and I never got to thank him for it, of course he’s in a better place now and I miss him so much. I don’t mean to ramble, it just feels better to talk about it.

This hits hard for me as well. I remember losing one of my animals when I was away from home. When I got home, I started to yell and scream because I never had a chance to say goodbye to him. Now, after listening to this, it reminds me of that day! I’m still remembering the days I had with him before he passed on!!! Me too I lost my Nana and my aunt I was really really hurt even in school I couldn’t stop crying and that’s why I had to go to the counselor had to let it out And when I found out one of my favorite teacher aids passed away I couldn’t stop crying my Dad would what’s that when he saw me crying because he knew something was wrong it and I told him what happened I believe he was there to give me a hug and let me cry Even my step mom my mom and my sister hugged me when I found out about it

Relatable. It was my dad in 21'. And he burned alive in front of us. Caught on fire in the back yard. I have trauma from helping him in, and just seeing the burned flesh. And smelling it. Dear God. It's very traumatic losing a parent. And every time the hospital called us to update, and all those hours we were in there for.... I really thought he was going to make it. I really, really thought. And then we got the news his kidneys were failing. And by then, I knew that was it. And by then, I just wanted it all to be over. So when my mom came home that day to tell us, I took it numbly, up until my brother broke down, and seeing him so young to find out such a horrific thing just broke me, and I lost it too. We're still trying to deal with it, as he joins me in uni this year. But it's still traumatic. Still in therapy, and it'll never be the same.

I have a friend who’s sister passed a long time ago, but he’s obviously in so much pain.. I always try to find a way to cheer him up and be a shoulder to cry on, always leaves me wondering if I can do more or.. if I’m doing the right thing, if I say the right stuff.. Wow. When I tell you I cried. I lost my father 3 days ago from chromes disease which means there's only me (16) my sister (14) and my other sister (9) left (mum left a few years back and we haven't heard from her since). Its unbelievable the amount of times I've wanted to cry but I'm unable to because I'm afraid to show signs of weakness in front of them. The both of them have been none stop crying but I'm afraid to cry in front of them because then it will make them sad. I have no body to talk to about it either because nobody else understands, other then my sisters but if I talk to them then they'll get sad and I hate the thought of that. Sorry if I sound annoying, I tend to ramble on a bit. Again, sorry for ranting.

God…….damn…….. That just hit me real hard. I honestly feel the same way as this guy when I got a text from my Uncle Gary saying my Cousin Katie’s gone. I don’t know if I should tell you this and you probably might heard it before, but my Cousin Katie has been having feeding tube problems back in October 2019, two weeks before my birthday. She also said that living in her body is like a living hell. She passed away on April 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. I really miss her dearly…………😢

As someone who lost their maternal grandmother (sort of expected, since she was in her 90s) a week before their best friend in the universe passed away (unexpectedly, and he was barely 70), this ASMR video spoke out to me the most. The pain of losing those who have moved on hurts me to this day, keeping me up at odd hours due to memories of them and wishing they could still be here, especially after my friend's unexpected passing. I just wish I had/have resources like your character does in this video, since my parents don't seem to care very much when I feel like this. Anywho, keep up the amazing work, Nyx.

I Lost my paternal grandpa when i was 8, It was Just Like this: i Remember waking up, and ready to go to school, when suddenly i saw my maternal grandpa and our neighbour at home, then while i was in the bathroom my mom...told me that....my Granda died. He had a lung cancer...Because he smoked when he was young...he quitted when my elder cousin was Born...maybe so he woulden settle a bad exaple for us. He was a great man... kind, hardworking, and loved me and all our family dearly♥️ My Friends and teachers were really supportive...everywere I would go everyone comforted me but I hated that time at home....
