Austin, why would being 30 and not happy be worse than being any other age and not happy? It's really not 'the last chance' or anything. You can be happy at 20, miserable at 30, and happy again at 40 - highs and lows of life and all that. Plus, research indicates that people's overall happiness levels are mostly stable over the course of their lives, with normal periodic fluctuations of course. It certainly is possible to gradually increase your happiness levels - it is something you can 'work on' - and of course sometimes people's lives and accompanying happiness levels do deteriorate, but both things can happen at any age. As I recall one segment of the population with lower than average levels of happiness is new parents - being a new parent and raising a small child is very difficult, stressful, and a huge adjustment. Which, in the US I believe people do tend to start having kids in their late 20s and early 30s...so I guess 30 and unhappy is rather plausible, but you can bounce back!

Something to think about and perhaps include in a video. For example, think back to a younger age that you remember well. Say 12 yrs, then think about how different you were at 15yrs, much different right. Then think about yourself at 18yrs, you are a much different person, smarter and have more life experiences. Then think of yourself at 20yrs, I think your current age. You are much more confident and experienced than you were when you were 18yrs. Well this process of getting smarter and more confident goes on as you age. So you see how much people change and get wiser and more experienced as they get older. Just think where you will be when you're 25yrs, 30yrs, etc. This is the process of aging and maturing you go through in life, unless there is some form of mental illness or some trauma that may affect this. Things do get better as you get older because you learn from life experiences. Ask any older person if they want to go back to a younger age, the answer will be hell no. They
