The amount of Lucy killing it with just...being herself, Phoebe absolutely BEAMINGLY in love with this version and her bandmates and Julien trying really hard not to cry and leaning on her guitar is just like. Too much for my little heart. *(also, everyone about to laugh at "predictably, thinking of elvis", and phoeb and jb glancing at each other for the timing on the harmonies =
It angers me it took this long for people to notice how brilliant julien and Lucy are they have been killing it for years and it's just now they get recognized for it by mainstream music it's just sad
@walrus_lobotomy I like that. Julien said they were going to do a Bilbo Baggins departure, so I like to imagine them just disappearing off into that landscape on the wall.

I went to the show cause my friend was doing sound and had never heard their music lol, I only knew phoebe bridgers at the time, great band tho definitely was not the smell's normal crowd, would love to see more genre variation like this at shows there.
This song was the last 4 minutes of bg performing as band for at least 2 - 3 years. They know it too. It may be the last time all 3 play on a stage together, ever..... 🦷🦷🦷
aw, it definitely won’t be the last time-unless, as Julien said on the red carpet at the Grammys, a meteor crashes into earth tomorrow. They went on hiatus after the 2018 EP, and came back for “the record”, so I think they’ll be back again in a few years 😊 (hopefully with at least 3 new solo albums between them in the meantime!)
