Very cool...would have been n ice to see a "copper kettle" , Ether and Trilene (Trimar) bottle there for that real old school feel LOL CIG/BOC machines were still floating around in operating theatres during the 80's from my recollection. I'm wondering if anaesthetists would risk being struck off these days for using one in a modern setting and a patient went sour.

Completely agree. Had a copper kettle in my training and it was a lot of fun to play with. Have not seen one in years. The physics are fascinating. Ah- error- I have seen one: Our department competes with another teaching program in CT (resident jeopardy) and the prize is an engraved copper kettle!
