I laughed bc true 🤣🤣 I've been a fan of kpop groups for 10 years and Jaehyun is like the first leader of a group whom I've stanned that is too chaotic to be a leader. I've seen leaders who are calm, serious, sometimes no jam, sometimes bullied/disrespected by maknaes (in a joking way), sometimes stressed by his group, and the quiet in the corner ones. Jaehyun is exceptional in so many levels 🤣🤣🤣

Jaehyun is the official fake maknae of the group lol. I understand your pov. Tho there are different types of leaders. And a leader has many roles in kpop. Mostly to the bridge between staff and the members, do speeches, greetings, rep the team, and as u said monitor the group ( mostly so they don’t spoil). Every leader is different and is differently skilled at each role. However, they are part of a team and each member has different roles that can help bridge the gap other members don’t have. I think Jaehyun is great at all of these leadership skills but even if he’s being too chaotic he can be since Sungho is there. Sungho is there to control the team as the mediator since that’s more of his personality. I’m glad that Jaehyun is the leader and is his chaotic self- because that helps the team dynamic be genuine and fun. They see Jaehyun as an equal cuz of that. that’s also important for a team to have and it helps BND be fun off and on stage which is also part of being an idol! What I mean is Jaehyun works hard and plays hard! While it’s important for him to lead, he should also have fun and be himself while doing it. Since his leadership skills don’t need to correlate to his personality
