The Lakers were upset in the 2013 MIAA A Conference championship last May; going ahead 6-0 and slipping to a 10-9 defeat. The Lakers finished the season with a 19-1 record and as the second best high school team in the nation. They graduated 18 seniors (12 of them play D1 lacrosse) but have 23 returning players in the 2014 season.
