We couldn’t wait to grow up now we realized those were the best days of our lives. The easiest. Our biggest concern was what we were going to do that weekend and now we have bills to pay and dinner to make and kids to take care of. If I knew what I know now back then I would’ve done so many things differently-so many things better! But you can’t live with regret. Just appreciation from a higher vantage point of wisdom. Miss these days.

I'm literally crying over this song. It made me missing back when in my most memorable days in my life. Hard to admit that no more thunder that would bring back the same thunder in old days anymore. Its just incredible I used to that era. Where are those friends of mine, classmates, everyone? They just disappeared and now found my self behind hoping for another thunder to strike the fun like in the old days. 😢

Hi, 13 year old me. Alam natin kung paano ka nabaliw sa kantang ito back in '09 nung pumatok ito sa radio. Palagi mo pa ngang inaabangan and one of the magical moment that happened to us is, late night na at may pasok pa bukas then binuksan mo yung radio ng mahina lang kasi tulog na kasama mo sa bahay, then saktong sakto pinatugtog tong song na ito. I miss those days, 1st year HS, tapos dream phone ko Nokia 5310 Xpress Music na phone. Tapos nakachucks tayo yung may kwelyo haha. I will never forget yung pakiramdam na unang mainlove or magkacrush nung time na yun. haha nakakakilig puro pasulyap sulyap Miss ko na yung kilig na yon. Char!!. Unang broken heart mo din non, umiyak ka sa cr ng room nyo. Uso pa nun love letters. Ngayon 29 na ako, those days are still the golden days for me, although mahirap ang buhay natin noon but I am so thankful kay God dahil ngayon mas maginhawa na at sobrang layo na kung ikukumpara ngayon ==== Thanks to my younger self because you survived all of the hardships (poverty, sexual abuse, toxic parents, sex at an early age because you thought it was an escape from your abuser, suicide attempt, etc) I can't imagine you have to go through with all that. You survived so I could live.

Grade 3 ako(2009) nung unang lumabas ito. Ito lagi kong nariring kahit saan. Sa computer shop, kapitbahay namin, kaklase ko etc lol. nung nag highschool na ako grade 8 (2014) dun ko lang na appreciate itong kanta. Ngayon 23 na ako hindi ako nagsasawa na pakinggan ito. 😂

This song came out when I was 14, I'm 24 now... Crazy how a song like this became so influential on a generation. I remember going into freshman year listening to this and making it my MySpace song so girls would go to my profile and listen to it. All the days after school talking to people on AIM and posting away notices that were song lyrics. Back when I didn't know any better and we didn't care. No smartphones, we had to ask permission to use the computer. Mom and dad would always yell at me Bc I was always on it listening to music/using limewire and talking to people. It's been a decade and everything has changed so much. I honestly forgot about all of that until I heard this song again just now and damn the nostalgia hit so hard. The power of music man...

Song will always mean so much to me. It came out when I was in high school for me. I was dating a really sweet girl and we both snuck out of our houses near the end of summer vacation and met up at the park in the middle of the night. We hugged and kissed and played Thunder while we embraced each other. It started pouring rain and we both had goosebumps on our skin. Enjoying the beautiful moment, in the rain, listening to Boys Like Girls. I’ll never forget it.
