I was getting second hand embarrassment so many times that I lost count don't take it seriously btw! however, you should also vote for Zhang Hao, thank you very much
2:13 hurt me a little as that's literally shangri-la by vixx and i can't tell if it's purposefully not putting the original title and artists or not. also this is literally a jellyfish trainee who also started by singing chained up by vixx and thats kinda funny 😭 great video tho 😭👍
Yeah, sorry for that, I realized after posting the video that it was Shangri-La - that song that I mentioned has a sample from the original VIXX song. Thank you so much though! I'll pin this, so people can see ^-^
Thank you, I was just about to comment that lol I mean he even danced the original choreo, I saw some clips of him singing oneus' lit(?), I'm pretty sure he's my fav with hui so far
funny how hui sings it by "enerZZzZZzeeeticccc" instead of the plain "energetic" like mans be so obvious he is the one who taught jaehwan to sing like that
Could be possible! It's also likely that Hui recorded the demo for Energetic. Not sure if we have any behind the scenes video of the recording, so I don't know :) Little phonology lesson, just so I can flex my knowledge: The reason why Hui says it with more of like a "z", is because of the phonology. In Hangeul, the letter ㅈ (in this particular case, it has 3 different pronunciations) is more similar to the letter z in English; IPA: ㅈ = dz. It's actually almost like the letter "dz" in Hungarian; IPA: dz = d͡z. Take the word "kids" for example. The ending part (ds) should be close enough to dz and d͡z in IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet). End of the lesson! ^^
The episodes will make me cringe soooo bad. Don't know how they always manage to make a group out of these trainees, crazy how they can improve so fast.
2:06 he was actually showing pictures of hyun bin (son ye jin's husband & crash landing on you actor) and won bin who are two well-known and now married kdrama actors. The gimmick of his self-introduction is meant to be like those as-seen-on-tv infomercials that advertise products. He was saying since hyun bin and won bin are both married, that he can take their place in the public's heart and be our new ideal type since his name is han bin 😂 basically han bin was making a joke out of his name being similar to two big actors 😂
Just felt the need to mention : Technically he is not playing shut down on the violin, that piece is called La campenella by Paganini and it is a violin piece. Shut down used it as a sample
I’ve honestly clicked on this video to comment that😂 I’m shocked that ppl don’t know the piece since it has been used everywhere even before blackpink sampled it
6:55 i mean it was his very intention to cut it off like that!! his intro was like "you know what's annoying?? when people stop songs when you're about to sing the best part so if you want to hear the rest you're gonna have to vote for me"
Ikr, what is Hui doing there? He's way too experienced compared to literally every trainee. 62 KOMCA credits, almost 7 years into the industry, years of training before debuting - kinda unfair both to Hui and the contestants.
@@kristin123a thank you for missing my point. Who cares about the rules? I'm just saying that it's questionable to put him on the show as a contestant. Like, okay, Pentagon needs recognition. I also understand that Hui doesn't want to be a judge. I get it. But is this show really the only solution to the problem? The other trainees are not even close to his vocal and producer skills. Sure they may beat him in dancing and rapping, but vocals are more important. Plus, he has those 7 years behind his back, even more years before debuting - he has been training himself for more years than some of the contestants' age. See how weird this situation is? Not fair, as in, the others don't stand a chance and one place is already taken in the debut lineup. (Based on the votings as well, he is pretty high up.)
@@chaesarang513 and even before Hui had his debut he would’ve been the best singer on the show. How is that less fair than them accepting contestants who’ve never even had dance or singing lessons? There are several other contestants who have been trainees for many years and other who already had their debut as well. It was the same with Produce 101 that had many contestants from different groups. And the biggest point is that Mnet wants to make money. They don’t care about any boy getting a fair chance. Most of them won’t make it solely because of the show’s editing and lack of screen time. Nothing is fair about this show. Hui explained pretty clearly why he joined the show.
@@kristin123a you're telling me all of this like I don't know. It's right that Produce shows were always rigged and unfair. Who said they weren't? I didn't. The only reason why I only mentioned Hui here, is because OP mentioned him. There was no point bringing up the other contestants. Also, Hui is still the trainee with the most amount of experience and credits to his name. Of course, we have Keita with 9 (?) years of training, Hwanhee and Xiao from Up10tion with 8 year long careers, etc. I wasn't talking about them here. I don't know what to tell you. Also, Hui only mentioned how Boys Planet was his last chance. He basically said that Cube simply mismanages Pentagon. Quite sad, because they are a nice group.
There are SOO many trainees I wish to support and stan lmao BUT for starters, I will definitely vote for our "heterophobe" guy😂( he made the post back in 2012 amidst viral homophobic outrage in China as a reaction ) (Zhang Hao), the oops guy (Jeonghyeon) , my Him Lip also known as “young and rich, tall and handsome” by him (Ricky)😆, my fave KBL actor (Jiwoong) 😍my "big" minion( Seunghwan) 😊and last but not least Woonggi the icon🤩~
@@mrigamonmrigamon2615 that's why we shouldn't judge people by first impression, thought he was a nice guy but after being exposed to his racist ass I don't have any words, specially as an Indian
6:47 Han Yuseop sings so beautiful oh my god 😭🙏 6:59 Yoo Seungeon too. Both of them are great vocalists 5:55 Gwanyoung sings so clear and beautiful. So many talented boys in here which was eliminated in the first round. So sad:(((
@@chaesarang513 I think he prolly has and he knew abt la campanella being sampled so he chose shut down on purpose. Smart choice. I think it gave him a boost on his fans and I have to praise his violin skills, the notes were so smooth. It's just chef's kiss.
@@cherilu7725 Yes, probably! Oh, and it worked, because for example, I always find it a plus when an idol can play an instrument ^-^ He just bought my vote with this ngl T-T
@sash That's what I thought too when I first saw him before but now I know him from YWY and NU, bruh he's actually very funny and actually a softie. Especially him being confident and his humble bragging😭
2:57 Just so I can replay this masterpiece. It's Hot!! 4:37 my new favourite version of Don't wanna cry? 5:54 , 6:00 Forget SEVENTEEN! Now I can't choose between these two
ngl that violin was kinda... simple but props to him for literally going from singing to violin-ing in less than a second didn't even waste another second to put on the "imma slay da world with ma bow watch me wieniawski" face
I think this show is going to make me cringe so much, but theyre also cuties 😭. Its just the secondhand embarrassment is intense. Also, adding hui as a contestant isnt fair to the others because hes an established singer, songwriter, and composer. He's been around for years as an idol. Of course he's going to be better than most, if not all, of the trainees.
The guy singing and dancing to don’t wanna cry is me in my room at 12 at night stalling to finish my work Also I’m hui biased I mean violin man slayed let me see more bc I heard that part is the easiest part to play in that violin piece blackpink sampled in that song
