Maybe this is controversial, but Seowon had the best stage presence in the love killa team, Matthew being pretty close. Like talk about his consistency AND versatility! Attention, Very nice and then Love killa? All different concepts but all slayed! Jiwoong played really safe. He did pretty good but it just felt like his demo stage all over again. Like the outfit and concept are pretty much the same. I would love to see him in a concept different than this. And ZOOM was the best performance for real! Everything about it was perfect! I couldn't have asked for more!
Your opinions are same as mine. Like Love Killa performance wasn't bad but it did not do justice to the extreme hype it was getting online. I was just expecting more from the performance, also the choreo didn't really stand out to me. I also unexpectedly liked Seowon the best in that stage since he has a soft voice and mostly he is shown doing girlypop, so I didn't expect him to do so good in sexy concept. His vocals was the best and stable in that team imo. Zoom is the one of the best performance of this season. Periodt.

I think Love Killa would've had more impact if Matthew was given the killing part and Jiwoong became the leader instead. Both did great in their current positions but I think it would have been more impactful this way. Also Gyuvin was always invisible in the performances to me. Even in lmr k team I barely noticed him and same goes here I think he was the main dancer here so he was supposed to stand out during dance break? But I agree he did not stand out. So for this, I agree with the op's theory that there are 3 trainees in top9 from Yuehua rn. Mnet can't remove Zhang Hao & Yujin, so they are trying to drop Gyuvin and replace him with Jongwoo or Gunwook (based on the edits of ep 6)
The reason why they didn't include Seowon in the editing at all was probably because of his performance was stellar despite being the lowest ranking in the team, and that story of him managing to surpass the top 9 will definitely sell and mnet knows this, so that's why they didn't include him because if they did, he could steal the show from the top 9 and I am sure mnet (at least right now) doesn't want Seowon anywhere near there. This is probably why they pushed Matthew's leader arc and Gyuvin's choreo arc so hard, especially Gyuvin. They knew Jiwoong and Matthew would be safe even if Seowon garner more attention, but Gyuvin would be crushed (even currently, people are criticizing Gyuvin), and the way the editing was done shows, ever since episode 1, Mnet really want Gyuvin and Yujin to debut, while Seowon was only there for the "haha" comedic relief commentary, which was missing ever since he got a positive attention since his performance in Nice.
Ricky really got evil edited for minding his own business lmao. Like I get MJX because he was basically practicing with the other team but really?.... this kid is minding himself?

SEOWON is really amazing. He has phenomenal stage presence, his body language is so good and his dance moves are always so clear and detailed. Also, his facial expressions and just perfect. He can fit in any concept easily and he shows the meaning of the song by the way he performs, and he really LOVES performing like you can see the happiness in his eyes whenever he's on stage… also is very wholesome and entertaining as a person. I've already talked too much just vote for him!
I think he will debut, everyone has started talking about him after the performance, I actually think he will get rated the highest out of their song in episode 8 or maybe 9, they have started giving him more screen time
People just use Woongki for likes. He’s gone viral on all socials after every episode. Gets MILLIONS of likes everywhere. Everyone gassed him up but no one votes for him… it’s very frustrating. He’s so desperate to redebut and it’s his last chance but people aren’t hearing his desperate cries to be saved.
i love woongi and have been following him since TO1. aside from his charm and humor, i feel as though he doesnt really stand out in this show. the guys talented as hell but the show only uses him for humor and entertainment

Well Ricky and Jin Xiang were focused on themselves while leader was helping Takuto. I don't get what is wrong with that? Ricky tried to remember the choreo so that is bad now? Usually there is like one to two people who are responsible for that.

I feel like Gyuvin was definitely silence-evil edited in this ep. I see a lot of people who went to watch the stages live saying that Gyuvin was one of the standouts of the round. But mnet only shows him struggling to make a choreo and then completely cuts his story to makes him seem incompetent.(As seen before in signal song mission,gyuvin seems to be a slow learner so thats understable). And then, everytime gyuvin is in the center, the editing was super weird showing reactions to the previous part or non center member + gyuvin lietrally got no hype reaction for his parts. So then,they made a surprise reveal to gyuvin winning and made him look like a talentless visual. Not only that, gyuvin lietrally choreograohed the whole dance break but he got no credit at all for it. It seems like we would have to wait for the fancams to drop to actually see how well gyuvin did because him getting the most points currently line up with whats a lot of the live stage viewers who were there were saying .

Yuehua already has multiple popular trainees (3 in the top 9) and a lot of them has clear roles going for them such as Zhang Hao as their chinese pick,leader material, Seugeon as their main vocal and Yujin as their dancer makne who needs confidence. Gyuvin's image directly overlaps with Yujin plus he doesnt have the maknae role so mnet most likely wants him out of the top 9.
My friend who went to the live said he got many votes because of his performance not of his visual only. People at the live have different picks and tastes in visual so if he stands out to them, he wins fair and square.

I think Mnet want Taerae to be main vocal of the group, his popularity has risen recently and he is also from Wakeone, there is for sure at least 1 Wakeone trainee in the lineup. But you are right, Mnet tend to give Zhanghao as leader, Yujin as dancer maknae, Gyuvin I think not really clash with Yujin, I can see Mnet show his interaction with Sung Han Bin and Hui in previous ep, he can be a friendly younger brother too. fr tho, they evil editedd ma jing xiang and ricky in rush hour when tbh it wasnt as serious, like I understand sungmin the leader wanted everyone to be on the same pace, but ofc since takuto was lacking the basics a lot, the other trainees might want to move forward to learn some of the parts individually.
The whole evil editing of Jingxiang and Ricky was so dumb. You can't have all 4 people helping 1 person. That wastes time and having 4 people trying to teach 1 person a choreo isn't helpful. It slows down everyone else. I think it's best if ONE person, preferably the main dancer, helped out the one person struggling. I would understand if more than 1 person struggled, but that's not the case.
Actually, Jay was sick during Home, apparently he even had to go to the hospital after the perfomance. I think this may be the reason for his lack of screentime and him not being so energetic, maybe mnet didn’t want to make a big of a deal (specially since Hwanhee had to leave the show for health reasons). Even with that I think he made an amazing perfomance and I really hope he gets in over me for the third mission songs (that was the one he wanted and his voice suits this r&b pop). I was blown away with zoom, I don’t like that song but they made it so iconic, I have the wumutititi in my head 24/7, I hope he gets to the next round. Love the development of Seowon fanboying over Jiwoong in the auditions to them performing together now, Seowon was really the one that got my eye in love killa, I didn’t expect him to do this good in a sexy concept, but he really surprised me. And for the rankings, mnet is really pushing for a W1 trainee and Taerae and Haruto were the major options, so it doesn’t surprise me that Taerae being the Korean one made it, and more that he kicked hui out (I’m starting to think that mnet really don’t want him on the group). They are also really pushing for Gunwook and with the yuehua problem I do think they want to swap Gyuvin with him, since they want Zhanghao and Yujin’s popularity is too huge to ignore. Even tho Jay may drop out of the top 9, he still has one of the major one pick in the west so he may rise with the 3 pick vote (same as Zihao). And for the eliminated, I expected Daeul to drop but I didn’t expect him to drop this hard, trainees that were popular but evil edited at least made it to the third round (Cai bing in gp999 or Yunjin in pd48), but well, knetz really left him. As for Woongi, I do think people really loved his reactions (he’s viral on tiktok), but they’re not voting for him. With the third round song announcement he had sign saying that he didn’t care for the song, he wanted to go further. He may go home and that makes me really sad since this is possibly his last chance
really good insight on the show!! i’m not sure if Jay has that stable of a fandom because to me he feels more of a filler main vocal vote for people, but i’m sure the Love Me Right performance made his fandom grow a lot so i don’t doubt him either! I feel like the Loser editing is having a bigger effect on how fans view Ricky than the evil editing. He's a victim. A victim of Kim Jiwoong, the Boys Planet heartbreaker. Rejected on national television. All this talk about rickys strong "rizz" but in the end it didn't help him. Now my entire timeline is just jokes about Ricky having a crush on jiwoong and getting rejected. That and the Kamden Pou plushy stuff.

i just think Mnet want to create a storyline about Matthew becoming a leader. He also said in previous mission, he played a role as younger brother in team, and now he want to challenge leader position, and yes, that is not always easy, he has burden as being leader, he is serious with practice so much because he is afraid he can not guide his team well as being a leader. And now, we have Ji Woong who are successful in being leader in previous Backdoor mission, Ji Woong here to give Matthew advice and support, and then Matthew overcomes and the team do well back. About Gyubin, he struggled, I think Mnet want to evil edit him too, his struggle is also one of problems which Matthew as a leader has to solve. Clearly, Mnet want to reduce Gyubin's screentime in this ep (i also notice that Yujin's screentime also cut in this ep) because there are so many popular Yuehua trainees who can make in debut line
Was it just me or was anyone else left wanting more from the love kills stage? This is my reasoning: For the killing part, jiwoong was stone faced and you can tell his posture is off at times The dance break was pretty lackluster, if you watch it back it looks like they’re just walking around half the time And I’m not sure if it’s because of live stage audio, if this is not a good song for Matthew or if he just doesn’t have a main vocal kind of voice but I don’t feel like he packed the punch this song needs during the chorus And also there wasn’t the high note at the end I hate to compare it to monsta x but when you love a song like this you can’t help but notice it and it left me conflicted about Matthew and jiwoong. Gyuvin and Seowon were good tho👍

My take on Matthew Edit this episode : I honestly think Mnet is a bit scared of how fast Matthew is rising in rank and that's why he was quietly 'evil edited' just so his popularity would go down a bit. They want him in the groupe but they don't want him to be center, they want Sung HanBin as a center and don't want to take the risk of Matthew getting first place, that's why like all the moments we saw Matthew in this episode he almost never smiled while in all the other episode they would show him smiling, of course he was stressed, but they do choose what to edit in.
disagree matthew is mnet favorite right from the start, he got a lot of attention bc he was sung hanbins friend before, then mnet paid a youtuber to promote him, so they want to start the drama for views by him taking sung hanbins throne in first place

Honestly i'm still very much confused regarding the Love Killa 1st place, I mean, was Gyuvin bad? No. Was he the one that stood out the least? Absolutely. I was totally expecting Matthew or Jiwoong to win, and 150000 points as a benefit start to make a different, especially for Gyuvin as, don't hate it's just my opinion, I really don't think he deserve the top 9 more than Hui, Gunwook, or even Park Hanbin which thankfully has risen a lot. I really don't understand why korean are so obsessed with Gyuvin, you can also see it in the amount of korean votes he received on the first elimination ranking, which was a lot if we compare the ratio of koran/global votes of other top 9 contestants. Plus I also don't get why they show us Jiwoong crying in a preview and then they completely avoid the thing without letting us know the context, like HELLO? Did not like that at all. Mnet definitively evil edited him and that's why people don't understand why he is in the top right now : for me, he has that secondary leader role, that the members can count on him if needed. Why? Bc he knows how to listen to the members and give good advices (but ofc mnet will never show that) => he created the choreography for the Love killa's dance break and especially what members would do what and it works. He was clearly the least talented in this group because the 3 others are really good (and that's why Jiwoong and Matthew are in top9 too and seowon increasing so much in popularity) but that doesn't mean he is not talented enough to be in the top9. Also, i'm sorry to say this : but if we have to take a visual-pick, i would choose Gyuvin. Why? For a simple reason : Yujin is a minor (2007), and like thousands of people, i don't want minors in the lineup. So I will be okey with both Yujin and Gyubin in lineup because I believe there are Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Han Yujin, Kim Gyubin, this group ensure 75% success in Korea, 25% for the music they are given. what you said about there being too many Yuehua trainees close to top 9 is pretty interesting to me considering what happened to Baekho from nu'est and Jungmo from cravity when they were on produce... I don't know what kind of deal is between Mnet and the trainees' companies but I can imagine Yuehua wouldn't want too many of their trainees to disappear in case they plan on debuting another group after Tempest. Mnet might also just want to leave more space for other trainees to come and go from top 9, for example I think they want to push Taerae, Gunwook, Park Hanbin, Yoon Jongwoo and some others to see if anyone will stick with the fans. It's very obvious that mnet have some trainees that they REALLY want in the group and some others that they are pushing as alternatives to see which one the fans want to go with. But if there's too many Yuehua trainees ranking in top 9 that might not be good for Yuehua and Mnet might say "wait shit guys don't vote for this one" like they kind of did with Gyuvin here. If they're debuting a group after the show they might want Gyuvin, Ricky and Seungeon there instead to get the group attention?? and have Yujin and Zhanghao join Bep1er. hey, thank you for commenting! there was most likely a deal between Mnet and Yuehua and I am pretty sure that this partnership prevents their trainees from being blatantly evil edited and that's why they are trying to make them fade them into the background instead. We probably won't see anything ruining their image like Cai Bing, Lee Daeul, etc... but they seem to be struggling on how to make their hype decrease without completely ruining their image, specially for Gyuvin. I also completely agree that in general the producers have a couple who they really want in the group and then everyone else is up for the audience to choose between their pool of selected favs. Their editing so far has been getting what they wanted so half of the Yuehuaz rising was probably unexpected, which is insanely good for the company and their most likely future group, but def a problem Mnet is going to deal with it in the next episodes.

love kila storyline really confused meny , me too but i just wanna add that the part where they were performing in front of the mentors , mnet editted it to make it look like they were very bad but u can actually see that they were not ready when the music started and the mentors were soo harsh especially toward gyuvin

My favorite performances were Zoom and Gang! With Love Killa I noticed that Mnet edited it in a way to make certain parts stand out more. However when I watched to full version on youtube, I didn't really notice Gyu Vin at all (not to be mean). He did pretty well, however I felt like his stage presence was really lacking... Ji Woong was sexy and did pretty well, however I didn't feel like he was the best fit for the killing part. I felt like he lacked some of the charisma that Jooheon normally has during that part. I felt like either Seo Won or Matthew would have been a better fit in my opinion.
All performances were good but Home just hit me too hard. Jongwoo was incredible with the choreo and how he led the whole group. The vocals were good too. Zoom was very fun as well, Keita really enjoys whenever he performs and does it with no pressure! This time elimination is going to be cruel. Idk if it’s only me who feels everything’s happening so fast! People should really start to get serious about voting solely based on performances. I only want the top deserving 28 people to be there so we can actually see them individually as well.
Limousine preview is just so GOOD, i'm so mad at mnet for putting it in ep7(because they don't want them) I'm def voting Anthonny, his vocals in this preview are SO GOOD, and i think that after showing his rank, other people might also vote for him so he will be able to survive💜
Here is my take on Matthews's edit. I think they just do not want him to get Yurina-ed. He has a strong pick fanbase right now, but when it comes to the 3 picks and the 1 pick, people tend to NOT vote for the top rankers. Look at Yurina and Xiaoting in Girls planet. They both ranked 1-3 place in most episodes, but then, in the end, fans did not vote for them because fans felt like other people are voting for them, and fans felt like they ranked high in the past so fans use their vote on someone with a lower rank. So I think Mnet is trying to lower his rank now so that fans feel like he isn't safe when it comes to the finals. I actually also think he might get really good edits at the end to the point where he does rank first place. I know that he is part of the G-group, but he is still Korean, it's just that he was born in Canada. I think that Mnet knows the perfect person to end the narrative of the Center always being a Korean member. And also considering that Rank 1 will get a solo, I think that they know he would kind of eat that up. But idk lol.
im really worried about the g group guys after this episode, its not even a question Jongwoo and Gunwook are going to be in the top 9 which pushes jay and keita out for now.... i hope they replace gyubin at least and also i kinda lost hope for Haruto debuting :(

I feel extremely so heartsore for Woongki. I know a lot of people are aware that he is from TO1, but I don't think people realize that he NOT return to TO1 because he left the group, so this is probably his last chance to debut. I feel like he would shine so much if he actually debuted, and I think we would get so many amazing interactions with him and the other debut members, as well as other idols in the industry. 🌻💐 I feel sad that he is so popular and well loved (Like his videos are viral on TikTok and Instagram) yet he is getting no votes at all, which means he has a fanbase, just not a big voting fanbase. Very similar to Wen Zhe from Girls Planet, I think they would be absolute stars in Variety Shows. 🍀🌺 In the parts where he did get screentime, you could tell that the other contestants, and a large amount of the top 9, actually really adored him so much. I held hope that if he was given good screen time in this episode that he will make the 28 cut, but I think his peak moment was the dance battle with Keita. I sadly think that he will get eliminated, as he is currently ranked 34. It will take a real miracle to get him to top 28. He is talented but he is really obnoxious. I am Korean and understand how he speaks and addresses things and he's a bit of an asshole to others. I also don't really like his attitude and will not be voting for him.

One of the reasons Yedam also dropped is the resurfacing of his cultural approppriation scandal. For those who don't know, he had worn a wig that was dreadlocks while playing up a black stereotype. However the main reason it has not been sweeped under the rug is that he was without a company at that time (he might still be I haven't look into him) and he hadn't apologized between then, the LOUD survival show, and now. He had plenty of time to apologize and no company to stop him from doing so, but he didn't even though he most likely saw how it had affected his survival on LOUD. So even when it could have been purely for his own benefit, he did not apologize. Hence a lot of people are guessing he actually doesn't WANT to apologize and doesn't see anything wrong with his cultural appropiating
i think that jay will definitely keep his spot in top 9 because even though he didn’t get the killing part he still shined, same with jongwoo, i think with the way it’s going jay, keita, gunwook, and jongwoo could definitely make it in top 9 in finale but that would mean we could lose people like gyuvin in the line up but as controversial as it is, i do think there a more talented people who deserve his spot

M kinda worried for Keita.. Although m pretty sure he's well liked by most viewers m nt sure how strong his one pick is.. He's still kinda in a danger zone.. I also wanted to point out how silenced-evil edited Hiroto has been in Boys Planet, and especially in this episode. Hiroto was one of the most popular trainees before the show started, and actually placed 11th in the 1st episode. However, his rank has been dropping every episode, and in this one it was revealed he was in 27th, really close to getting eliminated. This drop in the ranking is due to just how little screentime he has been having, like what happened in this episode. Rush Hour team had some drama going on, and they put Hiroto's speech from his Aju Nice team when talking about Rush Hour team, making it seem like he was saying Rush Hour team lacked teamwork, when he said that about the Aju Nice team, and not this one... Not only that, but he wasn't shown at all in this episode, only some reactions from him. I have barely heard him in these 6 episodes. This really shows Mnet wants a specific group of trainees in the TOP 9, because Hiroto has one of the biggest fanbases between the trainees, alongside Wang Zi Hao, and Mnet knows he has high chances in ending up in the Top 9 when people will only be able to vote for 1 trainee, so they are just cutting his screentime more and more. This is so sad, because Hiroto had high chances of debuting, and it's already his 3rd survival show, but because of Mnet's editing he's in risk of getting eliminated.
I’ve noticed he lacks screen time too & it’s so heartbreaking seeing him stand out in every way he can- like running to join the ktl team, wearing his hair in a cute pigtail on top of his head, and this ep he was wearing a tiara. Boy is so talented his rapping is out of this world and I really hope his rank goes up
@@jewel8439 I think you've mixed up Haruto & Hiroto. Hiroto was the one who was the centre of aju nice g team and now he is the centre of Rush Hour team. He is also the one who won the best couple with Jung Mingyu. The one you mentioned is Haruto who raps like a pro and gives funny reactions. Anyways, both are talented so vote for both of them.

The Love Killa team and edits/part of the episode was a whole confusing mess. Inconclusive is right! 😵💫 it even took away from their performance for me personally. I was most excited about this song and performance, but other than Seowon (who challenged himself by doing this sexy concept and pulled through), I didn't really like/get the expected vibes from anyone in the team. It's a pity really.☹️
i also was a bit turned off of the performance after the editing and one of my friends said that they are pretty boys wearing red when the vibes are supposed to be manly and scary - and that’s kind of how i feel too. they didn’t have the psycho twist to it that the original song has which took a lot away from the performance

At this point I think it's so easy to guess the majority of the debut group and it's kinda making me loose interest on the show. If it wasn't for my love of Park hanbin, jongwoo and haruto i would have stopped watching it after this episode VOTE FOR PARK HANBIN EVERYONE!!
so you don't know the power of one pick vote? everything can change completely when come to voting one pick. There are some trainees who are high now, they get vote because people think they are suitable for lineup or get on well with their first pick, but then when come to one pick vote, people only can choose their fave, only 1 trainee. It will be a different picture

They normally have one or two favourite trainees and fill up the rest of their votes with other trainees they happen to find likable (Which is usually the most popular ones). This way the same people are getting voted for again and again

Honestly I also think Jay was overshadowed by Woo Seungeon . Jay didn't got a good amount of screentime nor lines too . He just got very short lines and he needed some screentime too.... I'm sad but can't do anything

I saw on twitter that ma jingxiang actually helped takuto and the clips they used of him practicing alone were actually him practicing because he was behind. Mnet use him for promotional material but this was the first time he got proper screentime. Also why is Ricky always at the scene of the crime? Ricky is always almost evil edited, they don't like him

I've never got the gyuvin hype anyway and even after watching the full performance fancam he still stood out least, his entire expression on stage seemed very awkward beside the dance break at the end and when he grabbed his collar for his part he just didn't have much impact. i actually think seowon did the best dance and performance wise but obviously he is lower ranked so came last. but gyuvin also having the highest number of points so far is ridiculous to me...i think he should have placed last, everyone else did better than him
i used to be a big pentagon and a VERYYY big triple h fan so it really made me sad seeing hui drop out of top 9 :(( he's def my top pick but he's also the one i think will most likely not end up in top 9 unless by some miracle he gets in. hopefully his one pick power pulls through but idk. that's all i just wanted to share LOL

WANG ZI HAO deserves so much better. just in the first part of this episode when we were shown all groups, he was just edited out.... meet just cut him out ever ep... and it's sooo sad. HE US A HIDEN GEM. just he's Ned as the best dancer of the show by many trainees, as well as choreographers gasped when watched him practicing. it's a pity that he's fans barely trying to count SECONDS of his screen time. this guy should be shown better. i just hoping he won't be evil edited next time. if meet do so, he better hide from zi haos fans and exo-l

Jongwoo can break into the Top 9 if he gets more screentime in the next 2 eps and not the evil edit. Producers seem to like him and i don't think the hate is gonna happen towards him, if he stands out in his concept performance, we are gonna see him in the debut lineup for sure. I'm honestly more scared about Cong and Dang Hong Hai because all the Thai Trainees were eliminated (Winnie and Min deserved to survive oh God!!). For Park Gun Wook, the thing is that... he has the "Solo Artist" vibe. Like is it just me or y'all feel that too? Park Gun Wook is about to bring so much chaos to Mnet for dropping him to Rank 11 like dude was already not happy with Rank 10. Hui being dropped to 10 is a fucking crime, like wtf man??? Like IDC who took over Hui's Rank, but no one... literally no contestant can be as talented as Hui (and also Keita because dude has the crazy YG trainee experience so no one can fuck with him). Love Killa performance was fucking amazing!! Like my jaw dropped the the freaking core of the Earth!! All the performances were so good, so I can't wait for next week. And also... honestly, I’d love to tell everyone to vote for krystian, Anthony, daeul and other trainees like them who got screwed over by mnet, but if mnet isn’t going to treat them right in the show then I don’t think that I could hope for much for them if they do make a comeback and debut.

I AGREE SO MUCH ABOUT THE EDITING OF LOVE KILLA First of all, thanks for pointing out Seowon's lack of screen time. Thankfully, if you go to the full performance, a lot of people are noticing how the performance is pretty well balanced thanks to his vocals. I am waiting for his fancam. Second of all, I don't know where they tried to go to with the editing like first Jiwoong saying that Matthew was rushing things up, but like you had to lol When they were evaluated and Jiwoong didn't know the lyrics was like my A-ha moment (see, Matthew was right about having to use the time wisely) and then his talk saying he was doing well actually(? In that case, wouldn't the talk be about how he feels he's rushing too much and that it doesn't help them or something. I was really confused. At least from my pov, my respect for Matthew grew so much more this episode, and he crushed the stage. Lastly, Gyuvin hasn't been giving for a while.
i actually worried cause i didnt see hwanhee for a second in the show and was angry that mnet didnt show him or sth but then later found out he dropped out due to health issues he was always my top 9 i hope he does great in future and always stays healthy
I feel like something happened off screen between episode 5 and 6 because one of the mentors asked “Why is everyone so depressed?” and a lot of the trainees had larger than normal eye bags. It could just be that these shows don’t let trainees rest well or the elimination ruined the mood but I feel like some tea went down.
love killa was good but also a little lackluster? don't get me wrong i ate it up and it was still very entertaining but there were really no WOW moments in terms of vocals and dance... the visuals and stage presence were good but everything else was a little average? if they weren't attractive/already popular i doubt they'd be hyped as much as they are. and that makes me sad bc matthew jiwoong and seowon are some of my favs and i want them to show more of their potential.
My theory is that mnet this round is trying to take a few high ranking trainees down. It's as if they went like "wait that wasn't part of the plan" and are trying to show a bad side of them. Take Ricky for example. To us, his high ranking wasn't a surprise because you can see how popular he is and last mission he really stood out in the back door performance. The editing wasn't exactly favouring him, but it didn't do the opposite either. However this episode his clips in practice were all "uncooperative, selfish, rude". He also looked bad for kicking jongwoo out of love killa team (and jongwoo happens to be one of the currently most likable trainees after mission 1). I can also have a feeling that the same thing is going on with gyu vin. He got himself in the top 9 and although he is so talented I don't remember mnet favouring him in any way despite being in lmr team. However this time they only showed him struggling in training and made the fact that he was voted as the best member seem utterly unexpected. I have a bad feeling that jiwoong stans are coming for him I think a similar situation was going on with jay but in a bit more slight and not so apparent way. Although I can't say i got the feeling right so I'm not gonna analyse it any further. That's what i noticed so if you agree or disagree I'd like to know how everyone feels about the editing
I totally agree cos I can see its happened with Anthonny. He started the show in 8th place and he has had absolutely ZERO sceentime and is now in the 30's. Mnet def are trying to manipulate votes with the editing :/
Totally agree! Jay’s position in top9 seems to be in danger to me because as a Ggroup trainee he isn’t favoured in the first place. He got there solely based on his talent plus because he was put up against main vocal with Hui. Even Matthew at 2nd seems like a temporary feeling to me because they edited him like he was a very bad leader and made his group do bad. Idk 🤷🏻♀️

I think that Jeongwoo is going to be Dayeon of Boys Planet: a trainee who didn't get any screentime at the beginning but was angel-edited constantly throughout the show and who rose in popularity and eventually debuted. Look, I don't want to say that boy is not talented or sth, but Mnet wanting him to debut is so obvious...

So after watching the performance in this ep my fav has to be: 1st - home[ for beautiful storytelling and vocals, an overall angelic performance]and zoom[ the energy was so good with witty add ups that make them shine] 2nd - gang [unexpectedly nice like wow i they did the song justice] 3rd - love killa [i was expecting more and tbh it would have been so much better if Matthew was the center and ji woong was the leader, agree with ji woong choosing safe option] Is it just me or jay feels unwell in this like his energy was low and he looks he was in pain or something it made me worry if he would be in final line up or not ahh i want him in Also worried for kieta like even though zoom was one of the best performance they didn't show them much practicing Ricky is being evil edited for no reason boy just wanna practice

I think yedam shot his chances when he give up his killing part to Sung Hanbin in the Love Me Right team because I think he would have more votes if he kept the killing part for himself
helloo ! so for the audience there’s isn’t any really, but for the final group it may become a problem since Yuehua will have an upper hand in negotiations/decisions/contracts and so on since 1/3 of the group is “theirs”. it creates a bit of a power imbalance and maybe that’s why we never got a produce group debuting 3 members of the same company. we might see it happening this time but Mnet really wants to avoid it by the weird Gyuvin and Ricky editing
