I think this will be one of the only survival show finales where every single final contestants will be solid as hell. Like.. no dozens, no just cause they’re cute contestants, no real comfortability in knowing who will actually make it. It’s all up in the air and even at the last minute, somebody could show something in these last 3 episodes to shift it all
@@asareirene so you don't exactly know the dozen mean in other season, there are trainees who can't do anything good, both in singing and dancing, Yujin, I don't think much of his vocal, but his dancing skills is good and charming in his own( someone can dance without mistake but the own dancing style is the thing make a performer stand out on stage), there is reason why dancing mentor mentioned him in the first ep and the way they said he will be a factor in the future with more training

i initially thought there was a chance jay could be p05/p08 since he was always close to ricky in rankings + his fans panic voting him when he was first revealed as p12 + over me benefits + going viral due to the preview performance, but mnet would have probably shown him there too to get g group less votes Also i rlly hope zihao makes it😭
i'm pretty sure jay is one of the few global trainees that mnet actually likes. i mean he's been getting more screen time and the preview of over me is literally just his adlibs. they were literally advertising him. i agree with your original statement with him being p05/p08. i might just be saying this bc he is my only pick, but we'll find out tomorrow. hoping for the best
@@hyukazvalentinezi agree mnet does like jay but hes unfortunately their 3rd/4th pick to get in the group in terms of global trainees. mnet knows they can't evil edit zhang hao or keita at this point so they're giving matthew the weird edits and jay minimal screentime. hoping jay gets decent screentime tomorrow or at least A LOT of focus on him during the performance since he's the main vocal. if he goes viral again he's a strong contender for top 9 in the finals
i feel like seunghwan could potentially be a bit of a wild card and i think his biggest hurdle is going to be getting around that benefit. he’s being going viral on korean sites and has been gaining a lot of traction and whilst that happened to wumuti with zoom at the end of the day seunghwan is korean and not only do we know what korean fans are like but also the fact their votes do weight more.
I am literally on my knees for Junhyeon to debut in the final lineup, I have endless reasons why he would be a great addition to the lineup. He is not just the comedic relief of the show, he has a lot of sides to him that I hope others will soon realise and see.
A lot of other trainees fill the same roles he does. E.g. ChaWoongki, and SeoWon. So he is going to have to show the audience why he’s better then the others who have similar “appeals”. Going to be tricky as ChaWoongki has much more experience in the variety sphere and has had a storyline recently and the pity arc of supercharger and feel special + much more screen-time. So keep voting hard for him!
people need to understand that yes zihao has a strong one pick but he doesn't have many people voting him 2nd or 3rd. If he makes elimination he'll be pushing debut rn but it's only if he can make it through top18
Yeah his k votes aren’t high enough..he does always get good global votes and is prolly the only person not eliminated even tho he’s been given the tiniest screen time
@@StupidChildd it would definitely be hard for him, but I don’t think it is entirely impossible. Look at GP999, Hiyyih ranked 2nd overall even though she was 7th in Korean votes. If Wang Zihao is towards the bottom of Korean votes, but at the top of international votes (his 1 pick is huge and dedicated) then he might just have a shot at 9th place.
WANG ZIHAO has been rising these days. He's gaining recognition among Koreans. His international fans are so dedicated. His 1pick vote can make him to top 9. He just needs to be in the top 18 first, which I feel he is IN.
The lack of Hiroto in this episode was just, like, wow, how were they able to cut his parts so much. I started watching the show to see more of Hiroto, and now the show is ending and the only thing I saw from Hiroto was the stages, in 9 long episodes. It's ridiculous. I'm really sad that he's not making it to the finals, he had the potential to go there, but Mnet just doesn't let him. Great video, and I really liked the thought/hypothesis process! And I do have to agree with it, because it does seem like Mnet is pushing the fans to vote for the Korean Trainees,
I think seok matthew is 8th. Even if he is global, they wouldn't want to show him on 8th place because they wanted him to drop and they don't want him to go up YET. Keyword "yet" because they do want him in the final lineup, but to create drama and shock value, they're gonna try to make him drop and keep his rank a secret so we get shocked when the elimination episode airs. But after the episode airs, seok matthews votes are gonna skyrocket because seeing him in a low place will make people rally and start voting for him more. 8th is low for him, people wouldn't really think he's safe and stop voting because he's only been dropping so people will be more cautious. I don't think gunwook fans are enough to beat matthew so that's why I think matthew's 8th place, and that is my reasoning on why they wouldn't show him even if he's a global trainee.
watching this i realize that 18 spots are an awfully low number and i don't know how i'm supposed to survive this, this time i feel like i'll really be heartbroken. also one thing to remember is that the ranks can easily change compared to last week, the lower ones in particular so maybe some of those who are probably out now can get in and kick someone else out
9 as a debut line-up is also pretty low... But, then again debuting lesser trainees has become a norm (there are exceptions) and it is also a counterpart to girls planet, but then again they did remove the 999. If only they had some planet pass to allow one more member in the lineup, but that's just a wishful thinking.

I do think people were probably taking Gyuvins rank for granted (thought he was safe so didn’t vote for him) + F4 stans had to pick 3 only and that’s probably what caused him to fall sm also anyone who was in the top ranks are used as filler votes for strategic reasons so although their votes probably have decreased i don’t think enough to cause a fall in their ranks… unless???

Jiwoong remains my one pick due to Roommates of Poongduck, but I REALLY want PHanbin, Shanbin, and Zhang Hao to debut. I also want Haruto, Jay, and Seunghwan, and Taerae. Sadly most of them are iffy if they’ll make it which makes things stressful.
I don't think Zihao will suffer from fans thinking he is safe and get too relaxed in not voting him. First of all, his one pick is super strong, and they *only* care about him, so I don't see there being any chance they stop voting for him religiously. Second, they know he got 19th in the last eliminations, and so if they work off the knowledge that he might place around there, and that rank is not safe enough to not be eliminated, I don't think there's any chance they're letting up. If Zihao manages to get past this next eliminations though, even if only at 18, I can almost guarantee his rank will rise a whole lot from his one-picks. They're *committed*!

I find it odd that Keita is not very well supported by the korean voters. Normally, they love anyone with ex-big 3 connections (Jeon Somi JYP, Kim Chaehyun SM etc). Keita is ex-YG, but doesn't get the same hype as the the girls I just mentioned did.

I’ve felt this for a while that in terms of talent wise only Zhanghao can dethrone Sung hanbin but because Korean fans don’t like him v much, Han Yujin is the only one now who could possibly rank 1st😔he’s not as good as Sung hanbin in any way cause we’ve seen how he’s more focused on dancing and his singing is still hard to tell cause he’s young
if you think 400k benefit is small you all are crazy, zh's has the second highest subfandom on voting site during artist mission so he probably placed first. yujin is talented he was reassigned 3 stars and was previous all star owner. idk why you'll hate on him, yujin as a say my name centre did a great job.
Yujin is very talented, he choreographed for Law and he also help rap writing for say my name. It is quite subjective to say he is not as good as other trainees.

I have this weird feeling MNET want Cha Woongki to go up higher. They gave him SUCH A GOOD storyline and alot of screentime just for him to not make it? I think they didn't want him at first but he impressed MNET with his skills, versatility + MNET probably saw he is this seasons 'Darling of the season' - everyone likes him (Like Wen Zhe form last season). + his variety skills are above every single trainee left... He has alot going to him AND lets not forget Cha Woongki has been the most viral trainee on all socials alongside Ricky and SHanbin which is telling MNET that he has that viral factor about him and thats a big target MNET seems to want to push.
he got a good story ark cuz mnet wanted to evil edit shuaibo, him having a good story line a story ark was to make a c trainee look bad. though mnet is already set up a concept and if he meets the criteria the pd's might push him.

It makes me hopeful. And AGAIN he was “last place” revealed in the interim rankings. Push the “save Woongki HES at the verge of elimination” arc. It’s very interesting and I hope Woongki debuts. But I’m very surprised he isn’t higher. Trainees above him have done SO much less then he has and rank higher for smaller things then him. I do wonder why Woongki isn’t ranking higher then he is rn.
With Wang Zihao's huge 1pick fanbase the most effective strategy is invisible editing. Su Ruiqi and Fu Yaning had strong 1pick fanbases in GP999 and when Mnet tried to evil edit them in round 3 they rose in ranks. I'm sure Mnet is aware that if they show Zihao (in a bad light) this will only further incentivise his fanbase AND they'd run the risk of him gaining new fans from the exposure. Because of this I believe they wouldn't have shown it if Wang Zihao ranked 13th.
I really think you hit it on the spot. They have done in the past where they show someone in the rank after the cut-off line. So the fact they did not show someone does mean it is a global trainee. Voting for Jay everyday and Haruto. 3rd pick shifts around Wang Zihao and Keita, but I also really like Ricky.

Zihao, zhanghao and shanbin won support coffee truck. Does this mean Zihao is going pretty strong? Like Zihao along with zhanghao and shanbin. Zihao is too good to be eliminated in 3rd elimination. Ugh haruto, chawoongki, Zihao,kum junhyeon, hui, jay, seungeon, jongwoo and so many more shouldn't go home just yet. I really want to see Haruto, Park Hanbin, Wang Zihao and Seowon in the final top 9. They are super talented boys with bright personality. And I really hope that Keita will keep his high ranking and debut. I think Zhang Hao suits the first place the best but Yujin might be the actual winner because many Korean voters seem to prioritize youth and visuals over talents. Seunghwan and Jonwoo deserve better ranking too.
We can't predict anything cause anything can happen. Cause it's Mnet show. Which means they are going to give much shocks and surprises in future. So quite unpredictable. And there are also some chances of rigging means not all atleast one.
hear me out...jeonghyeon's rank increases tremendously every round (round 2 he rose up 15 ranks and now he jumped 10 ranks) and considering how much korean fans he's been getting in over me he actually might have a shot in getting into the final lineup

If gyuvin/phanbin rise because of the interim reveal I wonder how that'll shake up the 10-13 rankings? For example, I can definitely see gyuvin rising to 10-12 due to panic voting and phanbin taking spot 13. Anyone previously there would get pushed down i.e hui, Junhyeon, Jay, Haruto , which is making it really difficult to predict the elimination rankings. okay heyy, first of all i love such an in length comment so i have a very big one in return lol!! i think the people who were not shown in the ep and in ranks 10-13 are prob in the most danger of being dropped… everyone is likely focusing on those whose ranks were shown and people like Kum Junhyeon who barely appeared in the episode may be forgotten when the influx of panic votes arrive about the episode winners: - Gunwook -> apart from the fact that i hated the prank (so ???), with the comparison of how Matthew handled things in SMN he is looking nice + did a good performance and have the pity edit of not getting 1st place despite being heavily focused - Haruto -> i fully expected the push (they need 1J in the debut lineup and now have only 2 options so they can’t afford to lose him atp) he handled things so well and he was very dedicated and mature about the performance which is a side we didn’t see from him before (i kinda hated how SC was edited bc it all seemed very brushed over but Haruto did great!) - i’m going to say Hui is also a winner, for the first time we got to see him having fun interactions with the trainees, he was serious when they needed him to be serious and he did great in the performance as always, even though he got neutral treatment be was able to appear a lot and it was not heavy (?) like the other edits he got (Love Me Right for example) - Woongki -> pity edit + performance shown this week + 18 rank might be enough to get him traction to rise/secure his spot half winner half loser : Seunghwan got some screen time that was fun and really shined in the performance but got a minuscule evil edit losers: Gyuvin -> got the “undeserving of 1st place” *edit* again Matthew & Hanbin -> SMN ordeal that could have been handled better, Matthew got a redemption but still leaves a bad impression to the audience Junhyeon (& Hiroto) -> zero screentime and didn’t shine ✨ in the performance (i blame everyone having the same outfit + the wonky camerawork) I also thought that Junhyeon would get a bigger edit because he had been getting them all along but… someone else i was surprised by not getting a push/story was Keita, they barely showed him getting kicked out so ig he will be in the backseat on the Switch team which is a bit unexpected but means they’ll go all out with PHanbin !! thank you for enjoying the video and i hope this response isn’t too dragged out hahah

This is the second time they do that and both times people online fell into the “Gyuvin shouldn’t have gotten first place” i just didn’t want to make the comment longer and thought it was pretty self explanatory lol i will put quotes around it to avoid confusion. and if you care about my opinion although he is far from my favorite performer of the show, i actually think that if he won both times, it must be bc he has something really appealing on live stages :)

Idk why but i feel like Zhang Hao will be placed first. I also agree that Jongwoo left top 18 and is placed something like 19-22 cuz I haven’t seen many people who put him in their top3 BUT i may be wrong. I would say that Gyivin will be placed 13-16 but he won’t make it to the top9 in the final. He is a filler vote for many people and i have never seen his global one-pick fans. Although, he has a fanbase in korea, so who knows. I am already upset that Seowon, Kuanjui and maybe Woongki will probably be eliminated. I’m the only one who is not surprise about Gyuvin dropping ?? I mean it was pretty logic that Gyuvin was going to drop. Like I love him but having 4 Yuehua trainees in the final group is pretty impossible. I've never been so attached to contestants of such a show like, with gp999 i barely knew their names until the last episode and here I am losing sleep over Matthew's bad edit. Btw, i don't feel like it was a full bad edit, episode 10 gave him so much screen time, and he was still like the protagonist of his story, and it was kinda like a redemption arc for him being (rightfully) upset?

Gyuvin was considered to have the strongest fanbase out of him, Hui, and Junhyeon, but after 3-pick became a fact that's turned out to be untrue... how sure can we be Hui and Junhyeon aren't facing the same predicament (of having been a lot of people's 6-pick, but not in their 3-pick)? Also, while Junhyeon has been on a rise, Hui has been slowly falling ever since week 2. I honestly think there's a small possibility that Hui or Junhyeon went below under 18-- HOWEVER once the votes of the week catch up with the benefits, they might move up again, and things might still change... Like idk if Lee Jeonghyeon will be able to maintain his spot in the final unless he gets a godly story/edit and the gp watching the episode tomorrow eats it up. After tomorrow's episode (or maybe after Friday's first announcement?), I'd love to see your full prediction for the elim!
would the benefit points be calculated already? because i feel like it wouldnt make sense to add the benefit points until after the winner is broadcast because people could get an idea of who won/lost based on the ranks and it wouldnt be as much of a surprise. to be fair i have no idea how it works, im just saying that what makes the most logical sense to me. but maybe they distributed the points already so they can figure out how to manipulate the lineup/ranks how they want it. idk. if someone can let me know if its confirmed that the benefit points have already been applied or not i would appreciate it :) also agree with haruto likely being 13th, i feel like mnet might want haruto as their japanese pick instead of keita. it kind of feels like they dont really mind keita making the top 9, but dont really want him that much either. he hasnt been evil-edited but hardly gets any screen time or story line despite leading two great stages and being an all-rounder. he’s talented but seems like he just doesnt fit what theyre looking for and maybe haruto does. kind of like keitas talented enough for mnet to get over it if he makes it but if they can get haruto instead they will.

@@liezltan1887 i like keita more than i like haruto, ive been voting for keita and will continue to vote for him. but dont use keita to drag haruto down. hes also extremely talented and hard-working and he is at a conversational level or better 4 different languages. its insane to pretend like he’s not ready to debut yet. if i could one choose one i would choose keita, but im saying it seems like mnet might like haruto more. idk how thats a hot take when haruto got more screen time in episode 9 than keita has the entire season.
they are !! but they are also kinda battling by themselves, whereas other trainees have the package deal + shipping + friendship advantages that might screw him over for this round, if he manages to make it through i think he is a serious contender for top9. but with 3-pick + lowest K-support out of everyone + invisible edit by mnet + no "clicks" his insanely powerful fans might not be enough

My only 2 cents although I agree with most of the thought process in the video is that, yes Mnet GENERALLY tries to hide/bring down G trainees in favour of the K trainees, but I don’t think they dislike ALL G trainees like that. I’m sure they have their own G trainee picks that they want to protect, and something in me wants to believe that these are Zhanghao and Jay (at this point). I actually think Jay would be back in top 9, especially with the assumption that Over Me won the mission and got the benefit. The way praises of him literally dominated the comment section of that 30s preview video is honestly insane. Seunghwan was probably out of the top 18 during the interim, but I have hopes that he will push his way in given that En Garde aired earlier (and his performance was well-received) and that he’s been trending on Korean portals after this interim ranks. Or maybe I’m just delusional for wanting my U19 boys to be successful 🥲
Agreed gunwook prolly dropped I remember he barely beat Kim junhyeon for the 9th spot and most likely got it because of tomboy winning. So unfortunately I think he most likely dropped and 9th would prolly be kum junhyeon or jay
even if they did seungeon would still be on his spot bc the benefits are already counted in the interim ranks so it doesn’t help his situation a lot but although in danger the koreans got his back!! (intl people sadly always never count him in :((

Nah, because the global fans of keita are continuing voting for him like me his my 1 pick we are focus on keita, i'm sure he is still in top 9 but i'm not sure what rank but i hope he is in top 5 or remain in top 6.. as for ricky i don't know if he will stay
junhyeon has a worse situation than jongwoo in terms of one picks and three picks i think he dropped like jongwoo, so i’m guessing jay is 10th because of the alleged over me benefit, hui is 11th and they didn’t show him because he didn’t drop so they considered him safe and didn’t want people to also consider him safe and drop him, wang zihao and haruto are 12th and 13th but i could see either being in both places so idk
my top is: zhang hao matthew hanbin keita ji woong jay gun wook jong woo tae rae or haruto or ricky so I have a feeling i'm in for some heartbreak. 🤒glad to see gyuvin drop tho lbr, next yujin pls
