#BoysPlanet #HereIAm #Fancam no time long see 🤡 I'm gonna try to edit every boys planet episode so you'll be seeing a lot more of me I don't have a lot to say today, but thank you for reading the description! I appreciate it 💖
More Info! • I only used 20 fancams because I didn't wanna go through every single trainee doing each move, so that's why you see some repeated faces • I'm a dancer but this is just an extremely simple analysis that anyone could make just by looking at the fancams • I'm operating under the assumption that we haven't seen the choreography as it was made, performed by a professional, that the trainees learned from. If that video exists please let me know because I have no idea what some moves are supposed to be lmao That's it, anyways do you already know who you're rooting for? I'll post a short saying my faves soon ✨
As of now, Kim ji woong. He already debuted back in 2016 but his group disbanded in 2017. He was then again part of two other predebut groups and it still didn't work out. So I hope this can work out for him especially since he's 24 so if he misses his chance to debut soon he might struggle to find another chance ( given the fact that idols debut quite young , usually late teens or early twenties)
I thought they have different choreography since it got like 4 layers of stages but it’s actually the same😭 They kinda just vibin in their own ways and I love it
I thought that the different layers were showing their ranks at the time 😭 i'm not sure but i think that's what they did with GP999 and the other produce series
They shot the choreo multiple times... which is y in the fancam u can see them performing singly by themselves... and then they'll put in diff versions.... they probably record it for hours...
I honestly feel so bad for the trainees, they probably had less than a day or a few days of practise for the song (just like the others from the earlier seasons had). Survival shows are so stressful, I wish them all the luck they can get
That was my guess too, they probably learned it and then they were told to just go perform it😭 but cleaning a dance with that many people would be a nightmare so i get it lol
Someone who is a trainee/passed an audition and gets this chance should be more than passable at simple clean dance moves though. Some of these I have no idea how they managed to get there
The song is v high too (produce signal songs always are), like it's Tenor range and most guys are Barritones - it's outside of most of their ranges. My guess is they always make it difficult bc it makes for better drama in the evaluations with talented trainees struggling
I was watching the focus cam with my mom, and she said: "they are doing freestyle, right? Each one have their own dance" and I told her it is supposed to be the same choreography. Now I know why my mom thought that, hahahaha.
@@kizoyah9253 true like Wang Zi Hao his was technically the best (pls vote 😂) but as centers go sung Hanbin is the best one to this day again your comment was referring to just dance and people started freaking out so you’re in the right ❤
I agree. It’s actually not the boys’ fault, I actually blame the choreographers and the dance mentors, since it’s their job to actually teach them the moves and refine them…
@@SMAnthonyW but this is a survival show, not a music bank performance....lol. if they all danced it perfectly, how would we know who are the really good ones? all participants are usually given the same fixed amount of time to learn the dance, and then asked to perform it no matter how much they've mastered it. this is to be fair, and also precisely to show what level of dancing each boy is at
Frr when I saw matthew he was leagues above everyone else, his power was controlled but impactful, had great angles, extensions and fluidity, as well as incorporating pops in some moves. I literally said ok this is how its supposed to be done. That being said JAY AND WOONGI ATE W THE STAGE PRESENCE 😋😋😋😋
Hey just wanna recommend checking out Park Gunwook's fancam tho.. his moves were very clean, a good balance of power and control. Also one of the best in my opinion 😉
Thanks for the interesting video! Sung Hanbin and Seok Matthew really slayed the choreography overall, definitely deserve to be ''star boys". Some people say that Sung Hanbin did not deserve to be centre, but he delivered the most well rounded performance in pretty much all aspects IMO. Also Matthew's fancam needs way more views because the talent does not match with his popularity!!!
Hey just wanna recommend checking out Park Gunwook's fancam tho.. his moves were very clean, a good balance of power and control. Also one of the best in my opinion 😉
I just wanna say Jay's stage presence is one of the best. He may not be a top dancer, but he was ranked the 2nd best vocalist overall and his facial expressions shout "look at me, I'm here". I hope he has a successful journey here, he truly is marvellous.
The arm rotation movement made me laugh several times while watching the fancams, when I tried it myself I also realized how difficult this move could be in the beginning, especially because you have to do it on both sides and they often don't look the same. But you can see that everyone of them did their very best in the short amount of time they must have had to learn the dance and also the lip sync etc. I wish all of them the best and really look forward to get to know all of them even better :)
I don't get why viewers are saying the choreography is too easy this time, to me it just looks easy but it's actually hard to execute due to many small details. If the trainees can't even get the supposedly easy one right how are they even going to do a harder one 😭
@@tiredmarleyI think for me the hardest one is the youth with you season 3 one , that one basically lots of jumping movement and lots of energetic choreo , Even Lisa fainted after dancing for straight up 3 minutes plus
@@travelkingdom8987 i think that choreo is more exhausting / tiring, whereas this choreo is just awkward looking so its 'difficult' because it's hard to NOT look awkward
finally someone appreciating seok matthew !! he has been on my top5 picks since I learned his name bc he left a really big impression on me from the here i am stage, he slayed so so so hard!!! but he hasn’t been as popular as he deserves tbh, hope he gets a spotlight soon!!
Idk about you guys but Jay continues to serve every time, he’s good looking and he’s a great dancer, can’t wait to hear him sing live! Please vote for Jay!!!
i watched 40 of the fancams, and as a dancer, i think overall the 2 best (of the ones i watched), were lee seunghwan and kim minseoung. i don't know anything abt their previous activities, but seunghwan had INCREDIBLE musicality. i felt that he was expressing the lyrics of the song really well, his facials were on point, and he put in extra effort when it came to textures and tension at certain points. i did think he could've been a bit "bigger" with his arms for some parts but that was a really minor thing and overall he was consistently good throughout the song. as for minseoung, he was one of the only "powerful" dancers that didn't compromise placement for power. i can tell he's very precise about where he puts his limbs, which is really important especially when trying to match others. i loved his energy and i felt that he also expressed the song really well. there were also 2 trainees that didn't have the "best" technically sound performance, but were really enjoyable to watch; jang yeojun and anthonny. i especially liked how during the pause before the 2nd verse, anthonny was one of the only trainees to not break character, and he even did a little face at the camera. yeojun looked like he was really enjoying himself & that made me root for him. i'm both their fans now lol other honorable mentions: han yujin, hong keonhee, lee yedam, park gunwook, park hanbin, haru (yuto and ichika were also enjoyable to watch)
Honestly I love it cuz I feel like them doing it their own way kinda just shows how they interpret how they saw it? Idk how to explain it but like it’s just so interesting to me
I didn’t even know a new show even started for this and this is so funny to me 🤣 all I can say is that the choreographers either told them to do it however they want or told them to do it however they CAN because of they didn’t have enough time to practice. Either way, all the different ways to do this dance is pretty entertaining to watch 😅
Hanbin really be nailing all these dances... He honestly deserves the center position (He's not may fav pick tho. I will still prioritize Anthonny and Jiwoong)
In survival shows I usually always find the person that I think is a "perfect" idol. They're not always my fave contestant, but I always view them as a standard in which I compare my other picks too and Hanbin is my "perfect" idol in the theme song dance. Like you just look at it, nothing's lacking, he's also likeable, and just solid.
wow that was a pretty deep analysis. before I got into kpop I didn't realize how many different styles that people have of dancing, and GOSH it must be scary for these trainees to have their every move judged.
based on the fancams i saw hui did one of the best (if not the best) execution of this dance. he was exceptional and thats on years of being a seasoned idol. u should watch him
Yeah, I watched all of the individual cams and noticed that the dance was really well constructed to gauge their skill. Both big moves and lots of detail and different kind of moves (e.g. powerful vs graceful). The dance also creates lots of moments to show off expressions. (I personally really liked Park Gun Wook's cam. ^^)
Love your outro chicken "gotta blast" - that made me smile! If you're looking for fancams that are pretty good but totally different in styles, I like Lee Seung Hwan: bouncy, good musicality, nice facial expressions. I had the feeling he got the choreo down pretty quickly and could then interpret the music through his movements. And Lee Hoe Taek (of course, Hui/Pentagon): smooth, had the hand gestures down, also good musicality, made me smile throughout his performance and I felt he invited people watching to join in, like a Tik Tok dance (not that it would be as easy to do!). Looking forward to more of your Boys Planet posts!
Like I said, i don't watch the show (didn't even know boy's planet had already come out lol), but i checked out Matthew because you told me to and BOY was i impressed. going to have to keep an eye out for him. from the dance moves to the charisma to the visuals...
omg i remember watching this before i started paying attention to boys planet and was like dang the same guy keeps appearing as the good examples AND TURNED OUT IT WAS SUNG HANBIN AKA MY FUTURE 1 PICK
As a non dancer, the only thing i notice is that they all do the face part differently... So i think it's a freestyle part, cause they all do it similar but with different "style"
I watched all fancams of G group and noticed that Haru was the strongest and smoothest one. Every move was clear, break moment was the clearest. I was hoping to see him in your video as an example. I totally agree with what you said in the video
This is so funny, I chose to only watch the first like 15 seconds of each vid to know if they were good or not. There are way too many vids to go through and actually they all aren’t bad and probably didn’t have much time to really perfect the choreography so I don’t hold it against them. As long as they have good stage presence they get a look from me. I think once we get to hear them sing and rap the list will go from half the trainees to top 25 maybe. I’m excited!
Lets admit that this choreo is extremely difficult... To control so many limbs and body parts so differently and coordinate them, amazing they even look presentable together on one stage
I think, just like other seasons of Produce or Planet, they were given a time to learn the choreo on their own and sometimes with the teachers and what happened here is they learned the same choreo but not everyone paid attention to the details. Maybe it's the time constriction but it can also be attributed to their skill level in learning choreos.
What are your thoughts on Lee Yedam's version? I like his dance style since Loud. It's strong, clean and goes well with hip hop. Hopefully he'll get the chance to show his strengths!
