Not criticizing, just asking. Why keep a big spawning female in a live well for half an hour or more instead of releasing her immediately in the exact same spot?
Chris, it was great to meet you and shake your hand. Thank you for being a great parson and taking the time to make my daughters weekend by taking a picture with her and talking with us. Being parked next to you was a bonus! Keep up the great work and great content.
Love the editing. It some of the best on you tube ! Put a wide gap hook though my brother-in-law lip on a Carolina rig. He pushed it the rest of the way though. We cut it off with some side cutters. Took a drink of his beer and kept on fishing.
I live in Ballinger all my life. Its not in a middle of a desert. I gues yall north east Texas people live in the big Red Wood forest. Lol. Hey love your vids. Good Luck in the Elites.
Chris what's the protocol is you catch a teener and 4 othe giant bass in a tournament. I know its 100k but do you have space in the live well for that much weight, say you have a 14 and 4 6s?
Man just skipped right over the wife’s comment . That’s that selective hearing trait that men are born with . Now if you and the wife get down to Sam Rayburn . I’d like to cook yal and the crew a fried crappie dinner at yals camp or house . Save yal a night of cooking from all day on the water
Great video and it sure makes me think back to fishing that lake as a kid. I was lucky enough to have been able to fish it before it was officially opened to the public and it was a wonderland then also.
Lake looked pretty dead considering how popular it is right now. I didn't expect that. Question: What's that product hanging around your neck holding the go pro?
Would you be down for a old school bassmaster pool style tournament on oh ivey? Have the qualification tournament at a bigger lake but then the top ten go there and have 10 pools to rotate 1 hour at a time???
A few years ago I drove down to falcon lake for two days of guided fishing. It sucked. I've grown old now, but I would like one more shot at a 10 pounder. Not many big fish here in Kansas City. I've caught a bunch of 8 pounders, that's about my limit so far.
I usually add blue juice to the live well in these types of situations to help heal anything she might have going on . Reduce the stress in the live well also. You always want to take good care of these big girls. She has to feed up after spawning so much. That's awesome to be able to go catchem up on glide bait. Very cool!! 🎣🎣🎣🎣💪💪💯🎯 Love the videos .. Thanks , and a great surgery job!! ✌️🐕🦺😎✔️
Just got a chance to watch, love this format. Happiest of birthdays Sister 😎🎉 Sorry no biguns for you Chris. As always, let’s get kin forward to the next one. Oh, and I have started my big swim journey bc of these videos 👊😎
Caught my first 5lber on a 7" glide yesterday (thats a pretty big one in MN where im at), was getting 0 bites on all the traditional baits so I decided to pick up the glide and bam caught like 10 bass on it. Watching your video's helped me figure out when/where to throw it.
Wow, nice job Chris, I haven't been back since the last time I saw you there. Making me want to go back. I'll be at the Skeeter Owners Tournament at Fork this weekend. Keep up the great work.
Here I am 2:30 am watching your video, when I have to get up at 6:30 am for my own fishing trip. I can't stop watching. Keep up the great content and I hope I run into you sometime in North Texas!
Thanks for the new technique for the whole hook past the barb I’ve had to do that with my bear, his paws were stuck together due to a similar situation! Blood everywhere! Y’all were lucky randy handled that like a champ.
Hell of a video OH ivie is deff bucket list material lately have become addicted to chasing saltwater fish from the beach but this is awesome. Get em in smallmouth country Chris. Hope you and trait are doing amazing
It is really insane. I’m sure it will have a downward cycle (like almost every lake goes through) at some point but it doesn’t seem like it’s happening anytime soon
I got 4 DD,'s from 95 to 05. My biggest a 12 from fork. I have no problem with new technology but I do think my accomplishment is greater than these guy video fishing on ivie. I still think it's awesome though and wish I could do it lol. I just think it takes away from the accomplishment. I mean come on there was like a 50 lb sack on eagle 2 wks ago. That's crazy.
@@Zaldaingerous I didn't know that. Wasn't it Bryan Clarke and Seagraves? I know them all. Tournaments just aren't my thing. I'm more like you on MC. I swing for bigs. Best thing about ivie blowing up is it took some attention off that little lake. Like I said to me scope is a tool. I just think the hard way is a better accomplishment. Just my opinion. Good luck at your upcoming tourneys.
@@Zaldaingerous alot of them eagle hammers have been fishing there for awhile. Garrets one of them. Is Chad the same guy he's been fishing with for a long time. I've chatted with him and you a few times. I met you at fun and sun a couple yrs back. Keep it up buddy!
Dude when I was a kid I was sitting on my bed rigging up some rods and my cat came in and attacked a crankbait I had tied on took off down the hallway, hook went threw the top and bottom lip!
