Hi😊 I’ve taken care of my friend’s greyhound. I love her so much. She loves sofa, blanket and warm hugs. If a quiet moment is given, she falls asleep. So lazy and so adorable.
Always had greyhounds and lurchers growing up. Such brilliant and often underrated dogs. Haven't had any dog for years now though. Really need to remedy that!
I always enjoy your fun videos. There are still two tracks in West Virginia that are active, but the Tijuana Caliente track closed in July. Many west coast groups brought the remaining 150 dogs to the U.S. to be adopted. Moving forward, it will be difficult to adopt an NGA hound, so lurchers and international racers are a greyt option.
So helpful for anyone stepping into the Grey Realm for the first time! Gosh, when you said, "we don't have greyhound racing in the States anymore" my heart jumped .. I can only hope we get to that in Australia.. When I got my first grey, I was hung up on colour and wanted a blue dog. Gent was described as 'blue and white', but out came this gangling goofball, all white with blue ears. I've since adopted a red fawn princess and then foster-failed a nervous little blue girl who now bosses us all. The next doggo will be any colour. They're all special. Love your channel!
