No girl on her period realistically does this. We most likely curl up in a ball and try to stay as still as possible while watching a comfort show Edit: so, this blew up. I want to explain myself a little, i said "most likely" meaning "most girls", NOT ALL OF THEM! i phrased that wrong, my bad 🙏 if your period isn't painful and you feel like taking a luxury bath good for you girlss, i wish i could!! Anyway, eng is not my first language so i'm really sorry if i used that term wrong :/
As a boy and I know what this is cause my friend told me that his sister told him how it feels and it sounds very painful. Sorry to all the girls that have to go through this situation.
For those saying it’s not realistic. 1. It’s entertainment, she’s romanticized the topic and making it entertaining which has clearly worked since she’s gotten so many views and likes. 2. You don’t really bleed when you’re on your period in the bath, the pressure from the bath prettymuch stops it but the only bad part is that everything is (put simply) more OPEN so it’s not good to put soap down there during that time 3. OVERALL, ITS NOT realistic, but it’s entertaining.
@@thekingschild2116 Right?! I'm guessing some of these people never had issues with either endometriosis or fibroids and no amount of water "pressure" was going to stop that flow. 😢 I finally had to have a hysterectomy last year bc of the size of my fibroids.
@@thekingschild2116 underwater there is pressure….having a deep bath and STAYING underwater the whole time will most likely stop blood from exiting your vagina…. Did you pay attention in science? That’s why your ears pop when you leave the pool. ✨ pressure ✨
I heard that a hot bath increases menstrual bleeding, so hot baths are not recommended, rather a quick shower. Taking such a hot bath causes you to lose more and more blood, and if you have heavy periods, it may even cause anemia.
A hot bath will cause blood clots to release, which is the source of most cramping during menstruation. It helps A LOT of people with heavy cramping. So yes, this actually IS recommended. Ya'll gotta quit it with saying stuff just to say it 🙄
im a boy and from my perspective, periods are totally normal. at home, my mum gets her period every month, and i try to help her by doing more chores, making her food and over all taking care of her (even if shes not on her period, ill always take care for her
Awwww you’re an angel and my son is the same. He’s always very thoughtful and helpful and more so around the time of my month when I ask him for help. Wishing you a continued blessed life! 💪🧑!
If there are gals out there who can pamper themselves like this, that's frikin amazing and good for y'all! I just try to survive through life and work at least for the first 3 days 😭
I def can not my periods usually get so bad I can’t move but somehow I got lucky enough to have a man that would set all this up for me so I can enjoy it he always runs my baths anyways
@@jillianpacker2819I’m happy to see another woman has a man like my husband🤞🏾🥰 my cramps are really bad day 1 and 2 and my husband makes sure to get my snacks, my heating pad, whatever else I need for me…this way I don’t have to be in a lot of pain and doing everything.
for all those saying: a. this is unrealistic b. you’re sitting in your own blood i say: a. i’m on my period today and i went zip lining AND water tubing. every body is different. b. the water pressure keeps it in, which you can learn from any basic puberty book
As someone with a vagina I'm telling you no it does not, you are wrong on that last one, the water does no such thing. You will be bathing in your own (watered down diluted) blood at some point if you stay in there long enough
if nobody’s gonna say it then I will, she’s on her period, if you don’t know what a period is here’s some simple things that you might want to know, A period happens because of changes in hormones in the body. Hormones are chemical messengers. The ovaries release the female hormones estrogen and progesterone . These hormones cause the lining of the uterus (or womb) to build up. The built-up lining is ready for a fertilized egg to attach to and start developing. If there is no fertilized egg, the lining breaks down and bleeds. Then the same process happens all over again.
True .... They shouldn't say .... Boys don't understand.... We do all of em do atleast we try to even the toxic males understand but still they are toxic so they gotta act toxic
The good one realize what it’s like to cry and suffer alone to not show emotion to be tough to have no one to turn to but you’re self tha5 is truly a blessing if you find one
I completely understand the problems faced by girls every month because I also have a sister. it's not something that boy's should avoid knowing ,but it's about trying to understand girls in a more efficient manner😌. I'm saying this not because I'm matured ❌, I'm saying this because I care about them don't worry girls just bare this pain for a lil while and everything will work out perfectly as usual👏🏻
Listen I feel like me on my period and having a bath wouldn’t be good because like your just sitting in it and I’m literally gagging just thinking abt it 😭😭
I do this.. because it actually helps with cramps and bring cortisol levels down. Also, fun fact, eating a bunch of sugar and being dehydrated increases and. CAUSES cramping to be worse.(Because sugar dehydrates, so just make sure you're drinking enough water while snacking). It's actually the main reason why most women have extremely painful cramping. Drinking raspberry leaf will also help with that and improve mood. There's a TON of misinformation on periods and what they're actually supposed to be like because there hasn't been a lot of women focused medicine. Boric acid suppositories for after to rebalance you pH btw. If y'all need anymore tips(even quick fixes) just ask lol. Also period blood isn't nasty or infected or anything.. it's actually pretty sterile. It starts "going bad" AFTER it leaves the body and in contact with any bacteria you've left on yourself. (Extra tip) Use wet wipes, yoni oil(vulva only) and you won't have any bad smell in general
“boys will never understand“ as a girl i don't either! i just wake up, pack 10 pads/tampons, meds and go to college and have to pray i won't faint today
This is definitely a dream for me 😢 Unfortunately, my cramps are extremely painful. I wouldn’t be able to get up my first 3 days let alone put together this beautiful relaxing experience.
I'm just a beginner of being a woman 😅 (12 yo) also I'm great that that week pass away like normal. I have no mood change, no pain. I'm so glad for this ❤
Pro tip from a middle school teacher and 23 year shark week veteran...start keeping track in an app. It'll use your past cycles to predict when your next one will be. As time passes and you add more and more cycles, it'll get more and more accurate. Then eventually you won't have surprises. Also, carry a "go bag" in your backpack with your hygiene products of choice as well as a pair of underwear. In the early days, things can get unpredictable and this way you're always prepared. Also, your school's nurse should have some gym type shorts if you need them@@MeredithMcAlpine
The pain might come soon, I'm 15 and when I got my period the first few months were fine then I woke up on a Thursday and experienced the worst pain in my life to this day I don't have anything that can beat that pain
If you're a guy seeing this, no periods aren't this chill or aesthetic. It's basically you getting stabbed in the butt at times, feeling your uterus muscles cramp vigorously, lower back pain, excruciating pain of your legs/thighs if you even move it a little bit, the sensation of vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, fever, body pain, stomach ache all at the same time. I am not overhyping this or being dramatic with this. This is realistic. All these symptoms attack you at the same time. Happens at the same time. Same time. And it ends with you fainting. Also to mention the pain differs for each person.
Umm, I’m a trans boy and I know, I haven’t had surgery and I get very bad period pains I am replying whilst on my time of the month as we speak so I understand these pains
Is it normal to not have any pain or cramps in your body? Because I never have any cramps or anything during that time and I don’t know if it’s normal or not 😅
Try poultices of castor oil on your lower belly. It literally saved my life, now I don't feel any pain anymore and I have no symptom at all during periods
😂😂 and I google every item. The cranberry juice, prebiotic soda, the mood stabilizer, and the pad.. Amazon, Wal-Mart, Bare Bum Essentials.. must be a tick stock trend..❤❤
I wish my periods were nearly as aesthetic and comfortable as this 😭😭😭 My period baths are just me hunched up in a ball sobbing and trying to relieve pain lmao
I mean when it's that time of the month I get my heating pad my blanket my chocolate and my corner spot on the couch and watch shameless and pray that the pain goes away😂
Dear boys, No woman in the world does this except influencers. Realistically we take pain killer, curl up in bed and scroll on our phones. Sincerely, Girls
Why is everybody hating on her she can do whatever she wants, and no this is not wasting or whatever u call it , its taking care of urself so respect that!❤
I get everyone deals with their periods differently. But this feels like a classy way to deal with it. Whereas I just cry in my bed and double over with pain 😭
i feel you... i had to take a 3 hour test on my first day once, and oh god it was the worst and i didn't even do the test well... should've just stayed home
A TIP FOR THE GIRLS❤❤!!: If you are having bad cramps while trying to sleep, lay on your side, move your knees on your chest. Hope this helps!!❤✨️🫶🏻 (Omg, yall tysm for the likes😭🫶🏻💕)
I don't think people should say boys will never understand because yes, we don't go through it, but I think we can accept the amount of people who do know what it feels like, or atleast understand what it feels like....
Maybe most men won't understand but some really do,my husband goes out buys pads etc for my daughter, helps her when she needs pain relief, warms the hot water bottle, massages her back and much more,i think in time more men are becoming more aware and empathetic towards what we women go through 👌🙏🏼
Right, all woman but all those sweets would hurt my stomach, I need icecream days b4, and on my cycle I didn't want a thing to eat, knees and my bed was all I could do
This may be deviating from the video a little but I just wanted to say that not having menstrual cramps is also normal. I used to have pretty intense pain when I was younger but over the years it’s mostly gone away. Of course, everyone is different. People’s pain scales vary. But I just wanted to make others aware that both having pain and not having pain is very normal. It just depends on your body and/or your lifestyle.
Well, if you manage to do all this and feel good, amazing and I'm happy for you. Personally, I cannot touch water during my period, or it stops and becomes even worst and I'm grateful if I can get dressed or get out of bed during that week. But the pad bath bomb really made me laugh, never seen one! XD
i litteraly spent three days in the hospital once because of period. Now, i have pills to reduce bleeding to not die from bloodloss, but the pain is so intense i often find myzelf in the hospital needing strong painkillers. So no, at this time of the month, i don't treat myself to this, i treat myself to memory altering painkillers and blood stoping pills. I really hope that nobody suffers like this tho, and i really hope somw of you can have time to do self care like that for yourselves, u deserve it
girl you are truly a fighter. everytime a boy says smth like "periods aren't that bad", I tell them exactly what some girls have to go thru. usually it shuts them up, or they just roll their eyes. I truly hope you never have any guy tell you periods aren't that bad.
I'm a boy and scrolling through these comments make me realise how little credit you guys get. I feel ashamed at myself when I was young and naive and didn't understand what you guys go through other than bleeding and mood swings. I truly send love to you and, although we can't fully understand what you really go through, it shouldn't stop us from trying to and give you all the help needed. Sending lots of love. ❤️
Awwww🥹.What a sweet thing to say🤧. Thank you🥰. The women in your life are lucky to have you. Glad to see men acknowledge this, esp when too many men this days claim to be us when they DO NOT know the first thing about what it takes to be a woman. It’s a travesty.
Just use translate, if u want to understand me.
@@JelloRaccoonit’s a disorder where the lining of the uterus grows abnormally and causes a lot of pain, heavy bleeding, abnormal periods, hormonal issues, and sometimes infertility. It sucks because it’s often ignored by a lot of doctors and isn’t diagnosed for years and years. Along with PCOS, another disorder, it can make the average painful period actual torture for a week or longer. I have PCOS. And it sucks. :(
@@JelloRaccoon it's considered abnormal and would definitely be something to talk about with a doctor! I don't have endometriosis (explained by the other reply) but i do have PCOS, which can have similar symptoms, and involves fluid filled cysts developing on the ovaries. both are fairly common, with each one affecting around 10% of folks with a female reproductive system. if you account for overlap, that's around 19%! dangerous complications can rarely occur with both, such as with endo, uterine tissue can attach itself to other organs, typically the intestinal tract or ovaries, which may require medical intervention. with PCOS, a cyst can rupture, which has happened to me before, and I've been told it feels similar to a ruptured appendix! I definitely believe it! These aren't usually scary conditions to have, but they're often very painful. you may want to discuss continuous birth control options with your doctor, such as a daily pill, implant, or intra-uterine device (IUD) which may help regulate your hormones and lessen your symptoms. I've been taking the pill for a little over a year now, skipping the weeks of dummy pills that are supposed to force you to have a period. while I've experienced some negative symptoms, mainly some hair thinning and mood regulation issues, I only have a period for about 3 days every couple of months. Before being medicated, no exaggeration, I was on my period more often than I was off it, so the improvement has been beyond worth it for me.
for everyone saying that no one does that 1. water pressure keeps it in so it does help 2. i kayaked for a whole day, slept in a tent and then hiked up and down a mountain while on my period. every one is different
Realistically,no one does this on their period. We just curl up in bed, sleep, take paracetamol, snack and repeat. edit:Ik we’re all different and some of us may not do this
We wish we could do this, but naturally can’t. Our instinct for the pain is because of the blood, always changing pads, mood swings, depression, and anger, we mostly wish we could do that. But only wish we could because we can’t even have intact with someone without attitude
Step one-> Be rich Step two-> get the energy to do this Step three-> Enjoy your Bath Step four-> Enjoy cleaning Edit- TYSM for 15k likes yalll!! And yall this comment was for those who cannot afford the experience so if u can afford it enjoy!!
@@pixii_forever Yea so truee. Her bathroom design and the bathtub combined is rlly expensive plus items she has used. So total would atleast be 6,000 dollars if I am not wrong. Honestly im rlly jealous looking at this. And literally this type of healthcare is like rlly hard to get.
@@AmberTheCat274 some people that live in smaller or cheaper houses only have showers with no bath. it's pretty common. having a bathtub is a more expensive thing that most people dont have. ive lived in 2 houses that didnt have a bathtub.
Honestly if you re relaxing in a tub i dont see anything wrong in having a drink or snack. I have had baths that last like 2 hours just relaxing and chilling
A little tip for all the girls who experience severe cramps during or before your period, please avoid consuming any cold or iced beverages and food. I'm not sure how it affects the body, but I suspect the coolness solidifies the uterine wall, which in turn makes it more difficult to shed.
guys idk what all the hate is… she’s doing this to feel good and she’s being positive about it… she’s allowed to do what she wants. just bcuz u don’t feel well enough on ur period doesn’t mean that this it’s stupid. it’s a fun way of coping and she doesn’t deserve all the haye
@@robloxian.leìí Since l don 't know , so I 'm asking......you had your first period at 9--years--old , does that mean that you were sexually mature at 8 or 9 ???
I think that’s the point though lmao, so if actual blood comes out your not bothered because the water is the same color, also period blood is apart of your body so I don’t think she’s bothered
@@mr.glostermeteor465 there's a way to sleep with deadly cramps too, just press the heat pad to stomach and sleep will automatically come to you. It's more like you are intoxicated, but atleast you can sleep.
As a girl on her period while writing this, we never do this, but we wish we could. But with the nausea, cramps, blood, flow, mood swings, constantly having to change a pad or tampon, we only daydream about pampering ourselves on our periods
I’m on it too this is so true I’m literally sitting down in a random position feeling like I’m about to throw up with the horrible cramps 😭😭 the boys will never understand this feeling 😭
