went to the 20 year anniversary tour, but just bought tickets for the first 2 of 3 shows. after the first show we met josh at the venue and told him how sad we are, because we didn't get tickets for the 3rd day and the acoustic session. he said "well i write you on the list, i'm in the band, i can do this i guess". we thought he was joking or just messing with us but we wrote an email to the adress he gave us. he wrote back that it's ok and we should come, but we still wouldn't believe it. so we went there like "hit or miss" and in fact - josh kept his word, we got in and enjoyed the acoustic session and the last concert of the tour and even had the chance to thank josh afterwards. that's why i love this band and forever will. they are honest and funny guys who really care about their fans. these 3 concerts, i will tell my children about em - It's been a blast! All the best to you guys, thank you and see you soon
Here's to BoySetsFire......who back in the Fall of 2005 gave me one of the best memories of my life when they played a free show at Montclair State University in New Jersey, USA. My friend's roommate was doing an interview with them for the School's TV station when we asked him to ask the band if it was OK if we could meet them (I can't explain to you how much this band means to me) and they said "Yes" and they let us hang out with them before and after the show, it was a surreal moment to say the least....even got the setlist signed by the band.
I have been listening to this band since 98. I thought they broke up and just found out they got back together. I have been out of the scene for a long time, getting old sucks lol. Missed hearing music from this band!!
So with you!!! they inspired me to play music in my teenage years... and have inspired me to get my ass back into it!! They should be proud of the power and inspiration they have over so many!! BoySetsFireVEVO, Thank you so much!!
Seeing you guys on sunday, my mate bought the ticket for me ages ago and I wasnt so sure, but after a month or two of listening to your music, I CANNOT WAIT!
Lyrics: This is where the lines are drawn and gradually we pull back To a place that neither knows where anger leaves us breathless, completely bored and restless With a silence that explodes Let it go 'cause it's over now Let it die before it eats you up inside Want you to know if we ever make it out of here alive I'll walk away and you can live the lie Pass and store the isolation we crash, burn and placate All the wound they hold us down Fading harsh into the same song What point is there to hold on 'Cause its over now It's not a crime of passion… more of a subtle lines Creating lifeless plastic Out of garbage redefined
