See kids? These are real performers. No fireworks, no unnecesary dancers running to fill the stage, no unnecesary shitty costumes, no nudity, no playback. This is what your fucking idols would never do. You know why? THEY CAN'T. That's why. You can cry now kids, that's just how life is.
is it just me or is Michael McCary crazy good. His bass is perfect for this legendary group. Obviously it goes without saying the others are amazing singers, I just feel michael is underappreciated
I was thinking the opposite. Wanya is singing his guts out, and Michael comes in at 3:13 and gets the biggest pop of the night for TALKING. Watch a couple other live performances of this song from that era, it's always the same. The place goes nuts when Michael comes on. I can only imagine what Wanya is thinking during those moments. He did all these crazy notes. No reaction. Michael says (not sings) "Girl..." and the roof blows off the place.
these boys can sing , the whole group , my favorite group of all time Bobby Brown and Boyz II Men. Two amazing talents gathered under one roof! they are still great. 90's all the way
Yes indeed these Black Kings can Sang 💯❤👑🍫🎤🎼😌✊. Btw, they are still being booked, touring bc they have God Gifted Talents 🙏😌. Miss my era of Real RnB & Soul, Hip Hop music 🤦♀️.
I was 10 years old when they sang this at the AMA'S. I'd say they tore it up! I grew up on this....I wonder where they are today?! I LOVE their music. No music today can even compare.
+misspretty301 You said it girl ! But I think all ( or most) "black"people were just born to be natural beautiful singers. Must be in their blood, genes or the water? LOL ;-) Anyway, I LOVE black voices...they sing with their hearts.
***** Well I don't know if you meant ME, friend. I don't give a damn what color a person has, I respect ALL races. I don't even like the name "Black" for some people on this planet. It's only because the "lady"uploading this video wrote her comment to this video and I answered it. Let's say it THIS way then...most people with a beautiful tan ,coming from the USA, Africa or South-America have an Awesome voice. Besides, my brother - in - law IS what many other people call "black"...so are many of my friends and I love them. Have a nice week.
They need to get Michael McCary back in the group because they can still sing but they are missing his outstanding bass. You don't let singers like that go.
+Erik Nymo Wanya is the best vocalist (runs and holding- yes), but they're all technically the lead singers. almost every song includes a solo for each of them
I have to agree with everyone here so far. I fell asleep singing these songs for easily 5 years with nothing better to replace it. Lol. Helped my singing voice today by having exceptional R&B at the roots or the movement when I was young. Still go-to when I want the good shit.
Mike was good while he was here, but now Mike is gone and the others are great, giving it all they got, just to prove that they will always be together and I'm praying for them to stay strong and to be together always because it's the color of Love that comes from the heart and you know that's true, that's why I love them true,
It's not just a boy band, though without a doubt and sure. They steered the industry and contributed to the budget of 100 billion USD in the entertainment sector. They taught groups of many groups without using an instrument or based on a single lead soloist. Putting it apart from bands that were perhaps in the '70s, they caught up with the era when the traditional music industry of the USA was meeting on the Internet. The biggest reason they were still in the sector was that they managed the wind like the gale of the 90s.
i remember analysing this song for a grade 10 project... it was such an amazing era of music in r&b back then... and watching them in concert was also fantastic!
This was the 1993 AMAs. Michael Bolton performed after them and Reba McIntire before them. Michael Jackson started off the night. 3 of the greatest artists of this generation performing on the same stage on the same night.
