I listen to this song at least once a week. Takes to me back for some reason to my days growing up in Pico. Playing at Smith Park with a lot of my friends from PN. Going to Tommy's, Omega Burgers in the early 80s, Mario's, etc. Never banged, and some of my friends from PN and coaches told me to focus on baseball. These are the things that people don't hear about from gangs. They think it's all negative. I'm a teacher now, but I will NEVER forget about where and who I grew up with. The ones that are not here, and the ones that left us. Will always have love for my PN homies, Bamz, Cholo, my coaches that taught me the game from PN, and many more to name. RIP to one of my best friends growing up Capone. Still miss him and remember the fun times we had.
