Hey doll I got some of these about a month ago and I love them love the plate too Oh yeah these are really pigment only trouble I had was figuring exactly how much to put on the plate good thing it is gel and it don't dry lol. Tyfs

We got -10 but it wasn't windy, and the sun was out. So it didn't feel bad. We had 55 today. Mother nature is drunk😉

I feel exactly the same about them leaving the bottom out of the stampers. It gets foggy with use, and then you can't see the image to line it up!

Does Born Pretty stamping gel play nice with other brands of gel polish? I have several Sally Hansen gels, a couple Melody Susie, and one Modelones. Thus far I have only used one brand at a time. Because it takes me quite a bit of time to do my nails I have been afraid that mixing and matching will jeopardize the longevity of the look.

They are super thick! So you can get 2 images with one stamp sometimes. Moyra's is closer to a regular stamping polish in gel. Both are great and I don't worry or have issues with either playing nice with others. Really only ran into pulling away from tips when it comes to mixing different brands formula base coat and color.

The advantage to stamping with the gel is that you don't have to rush, so, if you're doing layers and need to line stuff up it wont dry on the stamper before you get it on the nail..........l love it, and the Born Pretty ones are great.......xxx

If it's a stamping GEL then yes it needs to be cured in a lamp, ordinary stamping polish will air dry.

Great questions, first it doesn't dry until cured so you can take forever, if it isn't just as you like just wipe off before curing, you can layer and cure after each layer so if you do 2 great layers, then the third is poo, just wipe the one you screwed up off before curing and do it again. 😁 thanks for the assist Karen.

I can’t seem to pick up images with gel stamping polishes? What am I doing wrong?

Try a bop, a quick tap. You can only use a tiny bit of it too, or you get streaking on the plate. And you can usually just clean your stamper and pick up a second image without re- loading polish. It is tricky!

Guylene 325 I found I had to press firm that’s all that worked! I tried 8 stampers all ways of picking up! Nope! Only thing that worked was pressing firm waiting a second!

Yes! I used regular polish for my base. Just be sure it's dry or it might pucker. You need a uv lamp to cure gel stamping.
