Removing the factory suspension for a new to me set of KW Varient 2 coilovers to give the Legacy a much needed suspension drop. First video filmed on my Go Pro so hopefully the video and audio is alright. Suspension swap is relatively easy on this car and this video can be used whether you're upgrading your suspension or replacing worn factory parts.

Anyone know a cheaper alternative for coil overs for this gen legacy? A set of KW is quite a bit out of my budget lol

There's plenty of cheaper options like BC Racing, Fortune Auto, Tien, etc. I went with KWs because I found a great deal on a used set. I would keep your eye out for used stuff because I paid less than half of what BC BRs would have cost me new

All good. I actually bought them used from the legacygt forums if I remember correctly. I actually still have them but one side doesn't have a working brake light anymore.

About how long did the coilovers take to put on? Asking so I know when to get up tomorrow lol

I would recommend you soak the bolts in penetrating oil especially the rear bottom shock bolts. Install was fairly quick though. Took me about 2 hrs

Ride was great! I would highly recommend the KW coilovers. The only downside is that if you want to go really low they're not the best option but definitely one of the best riding coilovers I've ever had
