I hope you all enjoy the video. Just want to let everyone know that I am 100% okay, I just wanted to express how I felt in this particularly vulnerable moment. I’m working on myself and feeling happier consistently more than ever. It really does all come down to mindset. Challenge yourself to feel happiness. It’s more than achievable if you have bpd. Lots of love x

Empty and alone. I can’t think of much worse. There’s only one thing that soothes those emotions for me, and most with BPD will know what I’m talking about. And when it’s gone? The world ends. I’m going to share this on my community tab.

Long hugs help me. And when there's no one to hug, I hug a tree. Both give oxytocin. And being outside barefoot ...getting grounded 🦶🌱🦶🌱

Probably, but maybe not to the extent of those with BPD. I often hear from people regarding BPD emotions: “everyone feels like that sometimes”. Sure they do. But when it’s all the time, and when it regularly interferes with your life? That isn’t typical.

I've got love for ya brother. Your words rang true to me on "stuck in a loop". I feel it every day. Big hugs and im here if ya care to reach out. I think only we who experience it can truly help each other.

Remember having BPD isnt just an emotional issues its a physical one too. Our brains are different than non disordered people. Our amygdala is overactive and our prefrontal cortex is under active. Hence why our emotions (amygdala) get put of control because our prefrontal cortex (the brakes for our emotions) dont work. Thanks for sharing man.

It's so tiring to have BPD. You fight your own mind all the time and no-one can understand that unless they're us. The void is just all consuming and it hurts to even look at it, let along admit that it's there and we're expected never to show the terror it produces. But the good news is that BPD can be treated and it can go into remission. The storms get less intense and less often. The void doesn't cry out quite as much and you start to get friendships that you trust and even that you keep. It sounds like a cliche but it gets easier. This was a very, very brave video my love - keep going. x

Hi Reece, this brought me to tears. I know exactly how you feel. Most people do not understand what is going on with our brain and heart. They look at us and think “ they have everything in the world…why are they so ungrateful?” If they only knew. I am one of those ones who has a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful and amazing sons, but yet there are times when i feel so empty and alone…hollow. Then I beat myself up and feel guilty for not being grateful for what I have 😢 It’s a freaking roller coaster ride! But atleast we know that we are not alone in this and are not crazy!! Much love to you Reece and all who read this ❤️🙏🏻

As you hold the phone, the voice saying to experience becoming and letting your soul grow and watching your tears flood. The warm feeling in the face and body, the gentle yet flooding of emotions.... It gave me such comfort to see, and it let me feel through you. I have such emotional distance to almost everything and everyone but mostly myself that i cry only once, twice and sometimes if im lucky - three times a year. While on the inside i need to, and wish i could do it every day. When it finally does happen i try to stay in that complete crisis because at least it was real. There was no doubt that it was a real moment. Thank you for being brave. Somehow for just a few seconds you filled the never ending void in me. Being truly vulnerable made me want to befriend you and to comfort you. Giving myself a reciept of having genuine emotions.

I appreciate you sharing your vulnerability. "Those with everything, feel they have nothing" & "Those who have nothing, feel they have everything" My BPD relates to this with feelings. I'm currently going through, (and probably have for awhile) that I feel everything and I feel nothing and then go into the middle of them both. Between this there's my loop of stillness, nothingness, craziness and a chaotic mess that the two, (i think) have become one and there is no path, no journey, no forward or backwards. It's really hard for me to try to explain; the "loop" would be the best way to explain, in some sense.

Thanks for showing vulnerability and talking it out!!!! I don't miss those days that i used to have frequently in my younger years. It is wild how we have to do so much emotional work as a human. If u haven't gone vegan plz do so. My depression went away over 60%. We feel the torture of those animals while our body absorbs their cells. It definitely contributes. Glad to read that ur ok. 🎉 i will save this to show other young adults that they are in a similar experience. Are you attending an Extinction Rebellion events??? They could use a filmer, interviewer, and editor with ur skillz;)

I understand your feelings…I am not capable to crying for a big lack of emotions. I feeling just pain to have lost my man ( he died last years), losing my friends for my behaviours and their lack of understanding my illness. I am mostly of the time suicidal, and I found my life meanless and I am tired of everything and feeling the pain inside me. Big hugs from an Italian in Belgium.

Hi Reece, I was searching for someone to explain what BPD is and who is actively living with it. I stumbled across your page and I feel like you explain it the best. I watched your video BPD and your Favourite Person. I think I am the favourite person of someone with undiagnosed BPD. Everything you said in that video resonated with the way I am treated. Also - I wanted to share that happiness is not something you can be at all times. I rather enjoy the melancholic and moodiness of life. The ability to feel is why we are human. Through my observation of this person (with undiagnosed BPD)I noticed they are highly sensitive to any shifts of mood/feeling to an uncanny degree. Almost like being psychic... do you find that is the case for you? That you know things about a person you're close to without them disclosing it to you? Really happy to have come across your channel. Thank you so much.
