So the guy Lerron with the locs that everyone is commenting on is NOT TRANS I REPEAT IS NOT TRANS, the reason why everyone thinks so it because he went viral last month doing a tik tok video that a bunch of trans men were doing but at the end of the video he said he was joking.. And stated that he was making lite of the situation that he goes through because of the scar he has on his chest from HEART SURGERY people always ask him if he’s Trans but he is not.. the whole situation is very confusing but because this is his first time walking a ball after doing this video joking about being trans the people where just confused.. which I was too so much so I had to go find the tik tok video myself like “wait a damn minute… “ the video is definitely confusing but it was all a joke he’s not trans at all just a BQ building that following any way he can..
So he made light of his situation by jumping on a bandwagon with a trans trend? Why not make his own trend about what he’s been through ... as a trans man myself that seems a lil off.
I try… lol The reason why the whole thing is confusing is because I followed him on Instagram because of that video.. so I was confused here seeing him say no I’m not trans.. I was excited to see him because I think trans men need more representation and adding him (if he were actually trans) to the conversation would continue to shift ballroom into a place of change because there are a lot of great trans men that could walk pretty boy realness and perfect tens and what not.. and I think even just the crowds reaction to him shows there’s still work to be done the way we scrutinize each other so much.. it was a little hard to watch, because I think even if he were trans he should be able to walk pretty boy realness because he definitely fit the category but there are men out there that’s doing their thing both trans and cis… so hopefully we can keep moving forward to that place of true change..

Yes there were competition. Most of them were competition. It could have went another way had the panel of judges been different. Secretly, all you have to do is change the lighting and that makes a world of difference.
