The first two moved like waterbenders under a full moon and left me GASPING for air like they had bloodbended me. The artistry, the balance, the power. It was like yin and yang. I'm---
I thought so too and immediately thought she was robbed but then upon a rewatch other girl outperformed in every way. Flips look impressive but actually isnt as impressive compared to every beat the other girl hit. Flawless
I am sitting here ..an old white lady at 62..rocking in this chair so much !! It makes me wanna get up and dance and feel that joy myself! To have those amazing bodies and to be able to just move like greased water must feel incredible! Total love and respect for ALL these fabulously talented and creative beautiful dancers! And doing it in stilettoes just makes it even more fantastic Love you all darlings!!!
Honey stated she practiced/ trained voguing everyday for a year. Plus she studied Mikayla before battling. If you really watch Honey “copied” the performance of her comp, hence the squat in the beginning the shoulder shimmy etc. Honey had the elements which is why she Won…
Nah makayla was better even the audience agreed, it's not just honey who trained every day makayla has been dancing for yearsNah makayla was better even the audience agreed, it's not just honey who trained every day makayla has been dancing for years
@@pgflamescionand that’s why the judges judge and the crowd just sits back and watches. Everyone knows Mikayla struggles with elements and just relies on tricks, that’s not vogueing.
I remember watching this video back in 2019 thinking Mikayla shouldve won, now 3 years later Im more educated in ballroom and Honey def deserved that win. ELEMENTS
@@hinatasbff8 voguing is not just dance and flipping around. You have to incorporate the 5 elements of Vogue in your performance especially at a major ball like this. They’re “Catwalk, Hands, Spins and Dips, Duckwalks, and Floor Performance” Honey gave all of those elements while Mikayla gave probably 3 or 4.
@@Nyckidd Ok Thank you! I was wondering why Honey kept saying "Elements". I still love Mikalya explosiveness lol but I understand the judging more and agree it was correct
Ok do you girls really know Kassandra’s performance? While Makalya was entertaining to watch she did what she usually does which is flips. While kassandra was dramatic and full of stunts she still VOGUED WITH ELEMENTS!
I cannot count the number of times I rewinded the part at 3:07 just to look at aallllllllll the different reactions in the crowd 🤣🤣🤣🤣 you find something new every time! They are PRICELESS!!
Some of them took a couple classes and felt it. You can only teach the basics of vogue, you can't learn what really matters. It comes from within. You cannot just go to Julliard and sign up, you have to bring innate talent with you.
For real, some new people in the scene only watch videos that teach “vogue”. Then they come on the scene noguing and it’s a sorry sight. At least look up one pioneer to understand the dance for god’s sake 🙄
Was too sloppy, couldn't keep up or do crazy stunts when it came to competing with a more fit bytch. Id say the weight is the main issue. Not body shaming, just saying. Also, moves are too basic, needs more practice.
@@taurusnbr1 no you just don't know the art of vogue fem. Paul vogues like a femqueen, the saying goes "butchqueen voguing like a femqueen" but none of the current butchqueens vogue like that. Do your research before aiming blindly. Paul is an up and coming legend and will probably be legend next year, he's had enough practice lol.
@@catcitikatkat7910 Kassandra is a legendary performer in the scene she has passed but to remember her the performers were supposed to vogue in a style similar to Kassandra (which is very dramatic) But some weren't giving that
0:17 maybe they don't know who Cassandra was 0:41 maybe they can't tell, maybe they can't see 1:15 Honey 2:17 Honey vs Makayla 4:00 Persia vs Miles ("need a glass of wine") 5:08 Destiny vs Jahan ("why you mad over there?") 6:24 vs ("sweetie") 7:22 Nina vs 8:18 vs Safari 9:04 Honey vs Antonio 10:22 Destiny vs 11:38 Miles vs 13:20 vs Destiny 14:45 vs Nina
I am NOT gay. I don't even understand that world. WHAT I DO KNOW IS... this is amazing. The utter skill level is mind blowing. And I can appreciate the artform.
This was a specific category. You get chopped if you don't match the category. From the looks of it some of them don't even know who Kassandra (what to serve) is.
I like that the commentators are more nautral and not as shady and in your face as before. I think if a commentator was obvious about his displeasure with a dancer , it influenced the judges regardless of the performance. I say let the performance be judged and not have the commentators bully the judges into decisions with fierceness.
I know if I have a bad day I can come to these videos and feel real joy, excitement, and life energy! I've watched them like a zillion times and they always make me scream right along with the crowd like I'm there! Happy place ☺☺😍😍🥰🥰🤩🤩
2:35 - 3:20 priceless. They need to signature that dance . Prefect it seamlessly because that was EVERYTHING!!! Baby!!! The crowd lost it🥰🥰🥰🥰 2:42 - 2:49 silver boots beautiful choreography walk☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽. Beautiful keep your eye on gold boots 3:01 Execution undeniable the best!!!! I swear he gave me life. If they worked on making it neat and tight GESUS!!!!!!!!
Stevie Wonder must have broke the tie @3:38 Makayla clearly won this time. Besides the judges fuckin up I love to see these two go at it every time. Love both of them but Maykayla won this time.
Its obvious the judges didnt care if they battled like kassandra would they voted out the ones that were channeling kassy they best way they knew how and let the ones stay that didnt wake the crowd up or care about the message of the category. I'm dissatisfied with this also because a number of ppl should have walked this cat knowing kassy taught them or influenced them directly or indirectly.
Questions questions!! Where is Chloe and Relish??? How did Paul not win? How did Casper win?? Why is no one bringing it like Cassandra?? Will my questions ever be answered?

What is the name of 2:40 in the silver boots? He was my fave by far!! His performance with the dude with the cornrows was fire!! They brought it!! #epic
Me to I watched this way before I just had to come back this season finished . I’m literally seeing the contestants from legendary I’m literally gagging.
I have to go back and take a look at this again because I saw 3 that were really good but I feel they should vogue in heels. I got to go back because this is really good!
The one in the gold walk-in on the stage like he at home in the kitchen lookin for something to eat HE NEED TO GET OFF THE STAGE. IT TAKES FROM THE QUEENS
Obviously you are NEW to the ballroom scene and you don’t know who Jack Mizrahi is or know his purpose on the stage ...stick to watching the watered down version on television
@@thetruthandnothingbutthetr6484 I don't care who he is. He is a distraction, walking about the stage to be seen. He adds to the clutter of folks on the stage.
