4Z01 Okehampton - Chaddesden.
One of my all time favorite classes of loco is the English Electric Class 50. So when this superb example visited Bristol, i just had to come and see it.
The 50 had worked down from Chaddesden to Okehampton the previous week before spending its time at Bristol Barton hill depot.
It then returned to Okehampton on 6/7/17 in the afternoon.
Here the loco is seen passing Lawrence hill at the bottom of the quite challenging Filton bank.The train is running over an hour early having not taken its last 2 stops.
Enjoy the sights and sounds of this fabulous loco.
