I have the same make of washing line, a massive great big rotary line had it for years, and you will have your one for years they last forever, I hang my washing, pretty similar to how you do yours, lovely and compact that washing line you’ve got, 👌😍💕

Great video Hayley. Brabantia products, although expensive really last well and are well designed, this is on my list already for the future! I have a straight line in the garden but a folding freestanding rotary shape (it doesn’t rotate) that I can have either indoors or out on the patio, it’s great because I can put it either in the open or under the roof by our door if it “might rain” and grab it in (with the washing still on it) if it does rain and just let it finish drying indoors. I also have one of those octopus thingies with lots of pegs on a central hook - it’s great for keeping socks together and grabbing in all at once (again if it rains).

Thank you Lillian ☺️ I totally agree with you, oh my goodness I keep meaning to get one of them sock octopus things 🤦🏻‍♀️ This wall mounted washing line is so useful I much prefer it and it holds so much washing I just wish the weather was better 🥴 I’m also looking at getting a kitchen maid airer have you seen them? They hang from the ceiling, and they run on a pulley system. I just can’t stand using the tumble dryer it’s unbelievably expensive right now 😫 xxx

@@hayleyshelp the pulley airer is very popular in Scotland and my Mum has had one there since she mover there in the late 1980s… I would say that if you have it in your kitchen, your clothes will smell of food if you cook while they are hanging (Mum has a utility room instead in her current house), so worth hanging to dry over night etc. However the clothes are out of the way and heat rises so they dry faster. The sock octopus is a game changer (my landlord had one that he left in a previous home and I didn’t know how much I needed it until then). Actually I just hung an underwear/sock load and I really need to get a second octopus because I just don’t have enough pegs for 7 pairs of undies and socks X 4 people plus it is so much easier to put away afterwards, I just pop each pair of socks off directly on my bed in separate mini heaps and then they are ready for balling up, no more sorting!

So I was thinking putting it above the stairs, we already discussed the kitchen and I said to Robbie nope it’ll smell of food but the stairs is a redundant space and there’s good air flow plus high up so I figured good dry time, just have to see if it’s doable 🥴 I’ve ordered the octopus of Amazon thanks to you hurrah 🫶🏽🩷

Iv got a similar one well it rotates haha, the same but it's not wall mounted, it's free standing I just put it away after iv used it, luv this one though the way you can put it totally away fab hayley 👍xxx

Absolute dream my darling, my garden is so teeny tiny and it just can’t fit a usual washing line, I also like how it’s got it’s own little locker I’m like alright love go back in your box for the night now 🤣 xxxx
