As a mother, this song breaks my heart....I'm sure it does that to your mother, too. I'm certain your mother doesn't see you as a curse. That's the beauty of a mother's love:no matter what your children do, you still love them. NO MATTER WHAT. FOREVER & ALWAYS. There are exceptions, like ppl that abuse their children. But those ppl are monsters and not included under the term mother. Real mother's love unconditionally.

I always say we see our children as a blessing or curse... I use to see my kids as a extension of me, all my worst aspects. Then I healed myself and my kids became my biggest blessings in life. My chance to break the cycles. All the children of any age commenting. You are blessings. Your mom was just broken herself. Become the healing for yourself and her!

My daughter sent me this song one day and it broke my heart really showed me that she finally understands the hell she put me through but I will always be there no matter what and I will support her for the rest of my life she has become very wise in her young age .I put my kids through hell with drugs alcohol and suicide attempts and the dumb ass men I chose to bring into their lives but with the exception of a few turned down the wrong path they have turned out pretty good I love them both they are the reason I get up everyday. I apologise and I am regretful of the shit they had to go through but I think it made them wiser at a young age they learned how to survive through the hard shit
