Do you think the Brabus #1 will be a hot seller? Let us know below! Oh, and to confirm, the claimed range is 248 miles, not 428 as Sam says in the video... Oops 😅

The the 428 is HP or 422 BHP 543 Nm torque. The MG4 Xpower is 429 BHP 600 Nm torque and lighter so a little quicker than the Brabus with a hot-hatch killing 3.8 second 0-62 and confirmed 12.1 seconds quarter mile on an unprepared surface. The launch control is savage trust me.

I drove the MG4 Xpower last week and the Smart #1 Brabus this week. Although the MG is £7k cheaper I’ve ordered the Brabus because it has loads more kit including.. Self parking, Matrix Headlights, Electric Tailgate, panoramic Glass roof with electric blind, Ambient lighting, Alcantara Steering Wheel, Puddle lights, Dog Mode, Cooler, 22kW AC charging, HUD, Heat Pump, 19” Wheels.

Wow that's amazing. Is it available already to order here in the UK? because I asked my nearest smart dealership and they said its not available yet because of no final finance options yet in purchasing the #1.

@@krizndzone technically you are right, I have a pre deposit of £1,000 The dealership said that Smart are taking the payment from September and they will have to refund me so I can pay Smart. They are getting their first order of 18 car’s Launch addition and Brabus in September with the Pro plus and Premium coming later, so it’s the luck of the draw if mine will be in that first batch.

Nice vid. Looks good inside and out compared to the MG4 Xpower. I had a smart Brabus Roadster Coupe back in the day. But £7k is quite a difference. What about the PCP?

Hi Julian, thanks! The only PCP numbers we have at the moment aren't exact and are lacking deposit amounts. They are Pro+ less than £390 pm, Premium less than £450 pm, and Brabus just over £500 per month. Hope that helps :)

Im quite torn on these.... need to see one in person but its clearly a bit of a style challenge... but the interior is spot on, platform and tech is good. Whats the best alternative EV at roughly this size? Jeep avenger? ID3 mk2?

It is a very fun car to drive too. However so is the elephant in the room, the MG4 XPower, which is excellent value for money 😄

Where did you get the range figure of 428 miles... think you need to check that figure. Not helpful giving out inaccurate figures, as someone might buy that car expecting to get that range and be very very disappointed

Hi Bob, we did try to highlight with our pinned comment (pinned the day it was published) that this was one slip of the tongue we missed in edit. You're correct, it's supposed to be 248 miles, as Sam says in the intro and also at another point in the video.

That huge display on the dashboard ? How is this legal ? I was done by the cops for having a small sat nav on the bottom of my windscreen even though it wasn't obscuring the vision from my driver's perspective ! I'm shocked !!!!! Hideous back end too . Front end looks like a frog. . Sorry not for me ! £40,000 🤣🤣🤣 you're having a laugh !. Too much tech = nasty accidents !

Hi John, we're hoping that voice control soon takes place of these infotainment menus. As there's certainly a lot to think about on the move in modern cars!
