Went in for an ortho consult today, I’m so excited to start my braces, I just need to get three fillings, and then I will be starting my braces in the next couple weeks.

Hi! We are on the same boat. Just got braces on Wednesday, after getting 4 teeth extracted as well! Thank you for sharing your journey, it’s nice to see someone experiencing the same thing as I am ❤

I’m 37 and I just got mine in Jan. I was so nervous bc I didn’t want to get anymore extractions! My oral surgeon was great too. Good luck on your journey girl! We will get them bags later! lol ❤

Wait so the oral surgeon didn’t accept insurance? Cause I’m about to get extractions and I’m not sure if I have to pay in pocket or just co pay with my insurance, hopefully it’s with insurance because the orthodontic treatment I do have to pay and is very expensive cause is cosmetic obviously. Will be waiting for your response thank you and good luck on your braces journey! 🙏🏻

That’s awesome I’ve always wanted braces and I’m hoping to get some this year….I’m 27 and have some anxiety about even getting a consultation but i gotta do it, thanks for the vid 👏

You look amazing with them. I myself have an overbite but hesitant to get the 4 teeth removed because I don’t want my face to change too much😂

Thank you 🥰 but I was hesitant for years. I didn’t know my face would change but now that you say that I recently started to realize my face look slimmer and check bones are higher.. I’m starting to love the new look already🤭

Girl I struggle with my skin lol having acne prone combination skin is not easy but I use dr dennis gross daily cleanser and Cerve cream to foam hydrating cleanser, Paula’s choice 2%bha exfoliator, the ordinary glycolic acid toner, rose water witch hazel toner, fenty skin toner and spf moisturizer these are my go tos I like to try different things and if it break me out I stop using it but I never take these out of rotation

How were you able to get powerchains in the beginning if you don’t have a gap on the top ? I thought powerchains were only for people with spaces

I’m assuming maybe due to my extractions causing large spaces at the top 🤷🏽‍♀️ I didn’t even ask

@@jammthebrand ohhh okay ! Makes sense . I’ve also gotten 4 teeth extracted in the back and I have a gap. Orthodontist always tell patients that the powerchains isn’t until towards the end of the treatment .. which I think is ridiculous . But yours look so cute on you! ❤️

omgg I’m in the same process rn I got my braces put on the beginning of this month and they want me get my bottom front pulled it’s only one tooth too , I’m so indecisive just about the spacing being visible and there but it’ll close eventually just scared lol

I just got my braces it’s almost a week now and I gotta get my top teeth extracted but they haven’t removed them yet so i have my braces but no brackets on the teeth they will be pulling I think they gone pull them in April cause March I get bands and spacers

I heard spacers hurt 😩 but your extraction process is basically the reversed version of mine lol

@@jammthebrand yes I heard they hurt as well but looking at my doctor appointment I think I’m only gone have the spacers for a couple of days then they gone put the bands in and I’m scared for the extraction part the needle is something I do not like and I wish they would of did that first like yours ima be in pain from the extractions and the braces smh

I had to get my top side teeth removed as well before the braces. But I plan on getting implants in those spots

Black and maroon/burgundy .. mostly dark colors are popular because it make your teeth look whiter

U won’t have them for 30 months trust me yo teeth not dat bad good Luck on your journey u would probably have them on for 20 month I’m finna get my braces off in 3 weeks
