Brad gives us a long awaited crash course on how he catches fish long lining. Kent Driscoll once referred to Brad as the "King of Long Lining" so you'd best believe this video is packed with tons of useful tips! And after it's all said and done we tried some cool new products in the kitchen getting these fish ready to eat! So make sure you watch until the end and if you like this video give it a thumbs up!
As always, if you haven't already, we ask that you subscribe to our channel. If you don't have a RU-vid account all you have to do is login with your gmail address and you're set!
We appreciate everyone's continues support and look forward to 2021!

Yessir, I love the Denali rods but for long casting the tiny jigs I use I have an 8 ft St Croix panfish series rod with a Piscifun carbon x 1000 w 8lb braid. Casts 100yds and the set up is super light I can cast jigs all night no problem. Just thought I’d throw thatvin

I see you're running the new Denali Rods.... Long lining can be very productive and if I can ever leave that vertical jigging alone I'll do a few trips pulling either tandem jigs or cranks...... Nice catches and good info....Stay At'um

How do you determine the weight of jig vs speed to get it down to the depth you want?
@crappieconnection
@crappieconnection Год назад
Lighter the jig the higher in the water column. On the grizzly jig seminar I did I posted my long lining chart

Nic, you will out fish others 3 to 1 pulling cranks or jigs versus 1 poling I assure you. As Brad said don't knock until you try it. It sure beats having your eyes stuck on a screen chasing football shapes all day. You actually get to enjoy fishing this way.
