And I loved that race Brad drove a good race I kinda thought for a sec he was trying to push the 21 to his first win but when he see Matty d open the bottom and that line was coming ...I knew Brad was gonna win it.... learning experience for Matty d I hope Matt gets a win in theb21 before the end of season but Brad's my fav by far
@@shannongrayRFK i was a fan of him . I had some cars of him on my non stop motion races he ran 10 or 16 wins and 6 championship wins.he wrecked sometimes.
I remember watching brad crash at auto club in the 88. In 2007 head on never herd of him. Then I watched him drive as JR Motorsports 88 and win dega 09”. In that James finch car. And I watched Hendrick d is betray brad. But it wasn’t meant to. If brad would had made it to hendrick he wouldn’t be the brad K he is today. Thank you for making this video and showing a true respect to brad as a person and his drive to be a driver. You’re a total bad ass bro for taking you’re time and effort to make these videos. Thank you.
@@fivewidesports you do a great job and hard work pays off. The most valuable currency you can possess is the effect you have on other people. And through this content you do just that.
Thank you for this. Brad is criminally underrated and hated unfairly. The only situation where I don’t defend him was Charlotte against Kenseth. The dude fought so hard to get where is now. First ballot Hall of famed no doubt.
He didn't fight hard for shit. He was handed everything by his stupid family and is the most overrated driver in NASCAR. I will be super happy when he retires
I remember him getting going, driving for Jr Motorsports, while getting some time in the Phoenix Racing and the #25 for Hendrick. I was so bummed when he went to Team Penske. I really wanted him at Hendrick Motorsports. But I think in the end, it worked out well for him.
@@ls_812it makes sense for him to move to Ford though. As a Michigan guy myself, Ford takes major corporate pride in our state, and Keselowski's the poster boy for Michigan drivers. Since Penske is also based out of Michigan business wise, he was probably sent there by Ford. Hell, I'm surprised we don't see really Michigan based sponsors like Faygo or Little Ceasars as 1 Offs at MIS for Keselowski. If Jones strings some good seasons together, I'm sure Fords gonna come make an offer and try to put him with RFK
I been with this man since the beginning. The only person I’ve followed from nothing to somebody. I’m a proud fan of Brad Keselowski. He really has defied the odds. Bad Brad, is a legend. Like it or not. Love or hate. Brad Keselowski is one of the greatest of all times!!
Dale Earnhardt fan here. A Junior fan until Brad came along in middle 2007 driving for Dale Jr. Brad Keselowski reminds me a lot of Big E. He is driven to win especially when his back is against the wall. He's won a Championship in his 3rd season. (Only the third driver to do that in series history not named Earnhardt or Gordon), won 6 times at Talladega, Coke 600, Southern 500, Firecracker 400, Brickyard 400, Bristol, Martinsville ect. Would have had the Daytona 500 if not for a late block. Brad is a sure fire hall of famer. He is a success story that by how this sport works never should have been. I think he has another Cup Championship in him. Fans need to appreciate the history Brad is creating. In a sport where he shouldn't succeed in.
2009 was a year when I learned a lot about NASCAR. Junior will forever have my heart when it comes to NASCAR, but it was the interview after Brad at '09 Dega that gave me the green light to cheer for Brad for years to come AND introduced me to the Nationwide/Xfinity Series (which then resulted in me watching all 3 series'). Being a Michigander watching that race go down start to finish was simply incredible and made me a permanent NASCAR fan for life. Somebody from the state of Michigan was able to beat my only favorite driver at that point and every other driver fair and square. Now many years later, a Champion in NASCAR's Premeir Series, 30+ wins, A secured spot in the Hall of Fame, and now a minority owner with Roush. He's set for the rest of his life and I will be here for every minute of it. Thank you for uploading this and letting me relive part of my childhood ❤
Thank you for making this video. I have been a Keselowski fan for 10 years now, and I have yet to see an unbiased perspective of BK post 2014 until your video. It's refreshing to see this.
I’ll admit it that I was one of those haters cuz of that reason. However, I gained respect from him again! Very talented and sincere of a driver. He’s Hall of Fame worthy🏁
I never liked Edwards, and I had forgotten why. But then this video reminded me. Not a Keselowski fan by any means, but Carl Edwards was driving like a complete dick during their rivalry. Bob Keselowski had it right...if he kept it up, Brad would eventually have been killed.
But Brad earned his way up and used raw talent he didn't come up with a silver spoon or a last name like petty , earnhardt, or elliott he came up with a racing background but he did it the hard way with pure raw talent and good sportsmanship and respect and THAT IS WHY he is my driver ....go get Brad going for 2 in 2021
You should do research before you talk about anybody LOL Earnhardt was made by his father to build his own car with his brother there was no silver spoon fed he works his way up you have to have talent to race in cup even one season. Chase Elliott grew up in a race car with a racing family his dad's brother was his crew chief for the longest time they were a racing family and they were all humbled and worked hard no Silver Spoon there
Really that whole thing between Brad and Carl Edwards was on Carl Edwards. Brad was just holding his line and Carl come down and crossed him at Talladega and at Atlanta. You can't chop across someone's hood and expect them to lift for you. And the thing in Iowa Brad should have been parked for at least five races in all series for intentionally recking kozlowski that blatantly. I lost a huge amount of respect for carl Edwards that day But I'm sure it'll be plenty of people to get here and tell me how wrong I am. That's the beauty of a Nascar fan they are all completely blind when it comes to their favorite driver.
@@austinhiggins4645 yeah, that's a lot of typing. I suppose if you go by wins then he is 24th. But there are plenty of drivers with less wins that I think were/are better. Just my opinion.
As a new NASCAR fan, these videos are awesome. I came into this sport knowing maybe Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson. Your videos provide such a comprehensive yet entertaining way to learn about drivers and I love it. Keep it up! :)
I think this is proof that if drivers get a shot with a higher team. Then they can show their skill. I’d like to see what Timmy Hill or one of the Rick Ware drivers could do behind the wheel of a higher team car.
Ross Chastain this year has had a career very much like Brad went from a back marker on underfunded teams to a championship contender and will be a champion in the next 5 years
Roger needs to break his rule and just sign him for a 10 year contract like he did for rusty considering brad is the winningest driver for the team since rusty
@@jameskeyser5124 I just don't think brad would do that he is a veteran who won just about every thing other then the daytona 500 I think he would not want to stay with a team for 10 years where his teammates race him like bleep lol I see him staying an other 5 years then retiring but not 10
@@austinhiggins4645 ****teammate lol and I see your point but everything is locked up right now and after last year and yesterday Roger needs to sign that extension
I’ll admit it that I was one of those Keselowski haters cuz of him being a punching bag back in 2014 and the stuff with Jeff Gordon. However, I gained respect from him again and I appreciate the things he’s done to the sport! Very talented and sincere of a driver. He’s Hall of Fame worthy🏁 Although I just started watching this video, I’m already living it as usual!
Penske needs to stop with the 1 year deals and lock him up for the rest of his career this silly season there's no one else that is a better option in that seat right now
When it comes to the Carl Edwards beef, Edwards was totally in the wrong 90 percent of the time. Edwards deserved 10 times what he got out of that rivalry. But we now know who the better of the two are and who has the most successful career.
I really don't understand all the fan love for Edwards, dude is a borderline murderer. As if Atlanta wasn't bad enough, which really, for getting turned in a Nationwide race a year ago, then your fault by blocking TWICE in Cup, you go and try to kill a guy? Like dude Keselowski's whole roof caved in over his fucking head, if that's not bad enough he right reared him for a win right in front of traffic and Keselowski took a bunch of hard hits in that wreck, too. His dad was right to threaten Edwards because at that point I think it wouldn't have been out of the question to park Edwards for the year.
Well son there was a history with Keselowski with a lot of those guys but I have to say this the Kid wanted to prove himself and was aggressive and the big boys didn't like the youngins beating them it's like earn your stripes and wait your turn. Now I'm not saying that's fare what I am saying if the kid makes aggressive moves that takes cars out do you think that they ain't talking about that in the garages
