I can relate to this. I had a "Lockdown Moment" and chopped my mermaid hair to a bob this length. I finally took the plunge and bleached it all and started living my My Little Pony dreams. ❤ My hair is back to mermaid length, but it is RAINBOW and considerably healthy and smoothy smooth ❤ Glad i lost my mind...

That was my experience when I “chopped” my hair too. Was so attached to my long hair, finally chopped half the length off, and recently I also finally got layers and highlights and sometime soon I’ll dye the highlights purple! The fear and obsession is gone and now I can finally experiment with it.

Yeah, but a lot of us who have really long hair have started bleaching and dying it crazy colours, and we often go back because 1: there's much less upkeep, and 2 damaged hair is hard to take care of and feels awful, and usually has to be styled to look right. I just hope she doesn't overdo it and learn the hard way that hair doesn't grow back quickly. Hair only grows about 6 inches a year, so if you have hair to your butt, that's probably 5 years of growth or more. But I will say, there's no better time to experiment with your hair than when it's already short, because you might actually be able to get it back to looking reasonable within a decent time frame if you severely mess it up

I can't see it as blonde at all, more light brown. So I agree with Mia. It is border.

She's definitely still a blonde. Dark blonde but blonde. Peroxide obsession has distorted the definition of blonde lol.

@@justme1106 To me, looks like the natural colour of her roots, her length was a lighter blonde. I defiantly wouldn't call it brown/brunette though.

I disagree, it’s very flat and has no volume. The length is very awkward. The hair color suits her, the haircut is super weird.

I think it makes her look youthful and fresh, it enhances her eyes and makes them appear bigger. All of that sounds like opinions, not facts and I'm not sure why it's a big deal.

I don’t think he needed to go this short in order to frame her face though. That, idk what people call it? Like pixey? Very layered look would’ve been cute :( especially since her hair is so thick. I think it’s still a bit flat on her face. Grrr would’ve loved some micro bangs too

I've had long hair (like Mia's) my whole life, until one day in my early twenties, I got it cut shoulder length. I liked it for about a week, then I hated it😅. So I grew it back out, and I've had long hair ever since. For some reason, I felt unattractive and boy-ish with short hair. I love short hair.. just not on me. 😊

So true. I had hair that touched my butt, but now my hair won't ever pass my shoulders anymore for long lol
